He's one of the best we have. He's quite like some type of Midas.

I felt really sorry for him when I heard he was fighting against leukemia. I truly hope he's better.

I hope she reunites with James more next album, he really is her perfect producer.

These are early thoughts after one listen, so suspect to change. I think she sound sensational throughout: That's! A! Vocalist! I think the songs are generally great too, but I do think the production lets her down. It all sounds beautiful and lush, but also lacks something to hold my attention, something that demands to be listened to. There's fine line between hommage and pastiche, and she's been skirting it the past two releases — the only thing that pulls it into the 21st century are the horny tracks, because of the context. I think she's too good to keep chasing this faithful sound, when the best thing about WYP was that it sounded like a new take, a refined comtemporary take on classic sounds. I'm sure I'll have this album in rotation quite a lot though. It's proficient but not inspired, if that makes sense?

Her voice was always mesmerizing for me, one of the best from the 2010's, but somehow her voice feels and sounds more intentional on this record. With lots of nuance, different presentations and sounding more with the way she sounds live.

It's a known fact that Prince was very picky when the subject was about loving other artists, and the fact that he would play Jessie for other people and wanted her to open his shows and seeing where she is now, it's just… Talent really recognizes talent. She's really that girl.

I have to let you know that I thought this too when I listened to the leak last week. Steadily, like a flower growing and turning towards the sun, I've seen the light and I really love this whole album. The horny songs are just the foreplay. There's something really refined in it, but it doesn't give up the cookie too quick. One by one they start to bury into your soil, worms and all. You'll be going about your day, brushing your teeth... Then you'll find yourself humming 'Say no more... I've been thinking the same thing, baby, I know what you came here for'

album's delicious - a feast indeed. so over the top and decadent!

I really would have loved one more Ride- & Sauna-esque bop in place of 16 Summers, which I found so lovely and sentimental, but not quite desirable for me.

Her vocal game is nearly unmatched. No one else doing music as effectively as her rn; she's in a total category of her own

Maybe my slutty ass is not familiar with this concept! But I'll definitely give the album time to grow.
