question! why is everyone in here so sure about her already moving onto a new project, and even discussing a hypothetical LG8? i might have missed something important but all i know is:

the weeknd crumbs (since like... last year during the release window of MAYHEM?)

the impromptu new lyric sung during MTN (which felt weird and might be new but not enough for me to believe she's releasing a project this year)

requiem signifies the end of things, but how does that mean she's already working on a new project? she could also just rest and not release a new album for all we know

if anyone has real information that i have missed like pictures of her leaving studios, producers spilling or reliable insiders i'd love to know but i haven't seen any of that and i can't find any of that when i look it up either

She explicitly said she's been working on new music, and I remember a video interview for Apple I think (not 100% sure though) where she didn't rule out releasing new music in 2026.

She said she was actively working on new music during her Zane Lowe interview in December. She mentioned having a studio set up while on the road and writing new songs that she didn't rule out releasing in 2026.

also, adding to what others have said, Vanity Fair reported last year that the Devil Wears Prada song is on a brand new Gaga album (take with a grain of salt)

I lowkey want a complete 180 from MAYHEM for LG8. I don't want her to get boxed into the "dark pop" genre, right now I feel she's explored it at great lengths especially visually with MAYHEM and I loved every second of it, but its very unlike Gaga just to do something again because people loved it from her. I almost want a bright, summery album because I can't even visualise what that would look like from her.

Yeah The Devil Wears Prada looks like ass, thankfully its just a cameo.. It's not like Gossip Girl which Gaga appeared on for a musical performance was considered to be some prestigious television show or even Wednesday for that matter so idrc that Gaga will have a miniscule role in what's bound to be a panned bomb

Since her PR team is non-existent and nowhere near as big as certain other popstars, monsters everywhere will have to keep making their voices louder and make them heard and that includes those working in high end publications writing op-eds and puff pieces about the gross injustices over the years. Some of the things Kendrick stans have said about Bad Bunny's "undeserved" AOTY is truly disgusting and makes any comment made here look harmless in comparison. Even though I still believe she deserved AOTY, I'm glad it went to Bad Bunny instead of Kendrick Lamar. Bad Bunny worked his ass off campaigning, embracing the music of his culture and speaking up on humanity rights whereas Kendrick sat his lazy ass doing nothing and STILL won ROTY.
