Has it been posted already that Madeon tweeted to say that Gaga remixed Abra herself for the performance and "She's been going hard on synth production."

Mayhem didn't need AOTY, it's been reserved for a self-produced LG8.

ARTPOP - 280k (October 2024)

Chromatica - 190k (January 2023)

Joanne - 168k (January 2020)

Easiest way would probably be releasing a love ballad-ish album, but hopefully she will wait until her 50s for that.

Issue with the overdue is winning for something inferior (same at the Oscar when that happened). I don't doubt she can offer other quality, but then you want to be sure you win because it is deserved not because it's time (that's why I was scared she could win for Love for sale lol)

I do feel a bit dejected after getting my hopes up for a GF win, but it's honestly so vindicating that Mayhem was rewarded as an album after the yearlong narrative that it was a bomb carried by DWAS. To know that it was respected enough as a body of work and return to form to carry her to a second win in that category 15 years after her first peak - that's my fuckin mama what a great sendoff to a great era.
