It's all already been said in this thread re her snubs in the GF and her overdue narrative. I'm pretty bummed. I have very little issue with Bunny winning as I believe the works are comparable in quality. I also have no issue w Wildflower as it's primarily a songwriting award (though I was personally hoping for The Subway). Messy also is an absolute triumph of a song and all the noms in best solo pop vocal were great minus Mustin.

However ROTY to Kendrick is egregious, absurd, and blatant favoritism. Apparently all you need to do to win is regurgitate your own bs ad-nauseam (this time with a collaborator who has superior talent and flow) over and over again and they'll just keep throwing awards at you. Disappointing doesn't even begin to cover it.

NE ways. Her winning BPVA 15 years apart in the style of dark pop that she pioneered (after being terrified to return to it) is incredible.

however my favorite part of the night

is rose losing all three noms and golden being shut out. I have listened to insane Kpop fans shout at me for over 6 months about how i was stupid and gaga was a hag and clearly golden was gonna sweep and rose and bruno would demolish. In the end the recording academy did the right thing and awarded ariana and cynthia, who had a far superior vocal delivery and quality despite lobotomized stan twitter and their recency bias yapping about how this was kpops moment.

Seeing how Ariana and Billie won this year's Grammy after being completely snubbed last year, I think the Grammys will award her GF in the future if she keeps submitting/releasing music, since those 2 wins were unexpected by many major publications and might be a consolation prize for last year's snub.

Glad this has a cute amount of likes. For quite some time we heard from the geriatrics on this forum that she had a "dated" discography or whatever. Glad to see her discog is respected as it should be. Unique, diverse, and acclaimed all around.

say what you want about 2025, but she worked her ass off to get that award. Aside from January, there were NO breaks between promo, coachella, and touring. Anyone who tries to undersell this win is just a bitter hag

Why'd that other pop star with the bomb "concept" album get so pressed about Gaga's win? It was very clearly hers to lose from Day 1, and others (like Sabrina) looked more than mentally prepared to just attend and celebrate the music.
