Confessions II is indeed very good tho with 3-4 excuseable fillers, but I think people should be a little more humble it took her 20 years and 4 consecutive fails to make another listenable album.

I agree this is the first time in a while that she's delivered something good but Madonna doesn't need to be humble. If she never delivered anything after C1 it would have been a remarkable run. This bonus 9/10 album is pretty amazing.

Just let them be y'all, that C2 vs. Mayhem thread really exposes what ATRL is, which is something I've known for a long time. Like I've said it many times, the majority of ATRL consists of stans of washed hasbeens (who are way past their primes) who all hate Gaga, because Gaga debuted and achieved great things right at the same time as their favs were all becoming irrelevant and washed. And for that reason they will forever hold a grudge

Notice how the other comparison threads are all 1 page with not even 1/10th of the votes, while they all needed to coordinate against Gaga, because their entire existence in the stan world since 2008 revolves around hating on Gaga lmao

All they are doing is creating good karma for Gaga, I already know we'll be eating good with LG8 thanks to their efforts

Lastly, imagine unironically thinking that album is anywhere near close to Mayhem in quality Some people really will hear flat vocals over a dance beat and be gagged. And that's why they stan who they stan. And we stan who we stan.

All of this makes me even more excited for LG8

Coming back to ATRL I knew the sex and friend-deprived fomos would be a mess with this album rollout and Gaga. Meanwhile in real life, a Madonna album release party at one of the biggest queer clubs in NYC was dead by 1am, even with all that excessive corny Grindr promo. Let the sis get her flowers for what seems like her first decent album in 20 years that she could only get by copy and pasting one of her old eras. Thankfully we don't have to suffer that with Mayhem being quality and LG8 being the same.
