This is top tier. Sometimes it's a very good sign when an artist disappoints their fans. She's breaking free and growing out of the space she's already carved out so much success in. 8/10, some of the musical ideas are overly recycled. Sometimes this is cohesive, other times it's unimaginative

Is there one track without the straight duration staccatos lol It sounds monotone because she does the same thing on every song. It's fine if her vocals are tempered, but not if the vocals do the same thing on every track

I agree this is the first time in a while that she's delivered something good but Madonna doesn't need to be humble. If she never delivered anything after C1 it would have been a remarkable run. This bonus 9/10 album is pretty amazing.

Embarrassing. All pop stars give a lot of power to their producers. Some do it smarter than others. The track by track comparison doesn't make sense for this either. Though I think C2 wins even in track by track, it biases towards Mayhem which is much less cohesive than C2. The major appeal of C2 is that has a seamless arc, track by track doesn't capture that

BWET more daring but C2 is near perfect

in awe of this album. The arc is brilliant. Price's timbres are magnificent and the use of Madonna's voice is so tasteful and slick. If these seems too careful at times it's made up for in the bottom half of the album. Love it
