In 2015 Living Legend and Pop Icon Britney Spears released a comeback single with 2014's Biggest rapper and It girl Iggy Azalea.

The song initially had a lot of hype, however when it was released, it was extremely polarizing to fans and the GP alike. It went viral upon release and had tons of attention but it ghosted the charts soon after.

The song is an obvious Fancy rip-off (even produced by the same people as Fancy) but I related to the song's message :eli: and it was low-key a fun, mindless bop if you take it for what it is. Not every pop song is suppose to be deep.

Was this song too pretty for the GP? Can you relate to the song's message? Were people too hard on this or no? Is this song an ugly dumpster fire?

ATRL re-evaluates and decides. Discuss!

It's still bad but the synths are kinda cute, it would've probably have been a better song without Igloo Australia tbh

I'd rather listen to Accelerate if that answers your question

She was pregnant with Charli XCX here

Fun fact: this was a Charli XCX song first :nicole2:

I was almost close to unstanning Iggy with this song. Britney's vocals here would give DMF nightmares tbh

Had this been released today it would've performed similar to 'Guess'. It was very forward at the time @Pop

It gave him nightmares because we all know he's a secret stan

Myah Marie kinda mailed it in. I could see it smashing on Little Mix's Get Weird :jonny5:

It's a fun song, but we know why it flopped...

That being said I'm glad it's a non-album single. :fan:

Meh. It's not great but I've heard worse from both artists. Honestly, I kind of forgot about it.

Had potential but the finished product fell flat. Britney and Iggy sounds good on paper at the time but they didn't deliver

Iggy wanted a fancy 2.0 and Britney's team was forcing her to work and that's what we got . A half baked single that didn't need to happen

The definition of a guilty pleasure to me. It's so bad I like it, and keep revisiting it every now and then. It's like a car crash, you just can't look away
