Eli crashes out on X, calls Taylor a predator, and claims she made sombr unfollow her
Everything I've posted on this site has been based on facts. Taylor dated Connor Kennedy before he left high school. Fact. Taylor exploits her fans with endless variants and Temu quality merch, to an unparalleled extent, to enrich herself. Fact. Taylor has questionable politics or, at the very best, has made questionable decisions on the expression of her politics. Fact. I'm sorry you don't like that those things are true. That doesn't make them any less true. The fact you don't see a difference in me criticising Taylor on a niche, half-dead pop culture website for those things, versus directly sending hate speech to a trans person, really says volumes about how blinkered you are.

Eli crashes out on X, calls Taylor a predator, and claims she made sombr unfollow her
Everyone should stop with that gaylor **** and the Shawn Mendes jokes. Not everything Eli said has been appropriate, but Swifties on Twitter (and note the Shawn Mendes stans aren't joining in) would still be hurling transphobic abuse at her even if she had only made her valid criticisms. Stan Twitter is a rabid place but there's no fanbase more obscene in their use of hate speech and in the degree of harassment they direct at their favourite artist's supposed ops supposed ops than Taylor fans. You can see it in the OP where Eli says they won't be happy until she kills herself. That's why I find it unacceptable when I see people on ATRL – people who are supposed to be part of Eli's community – try to minimise, justify, and deflect from this, and that's why I lend support to Eli.

Google is free. You don't need a personal research assistant to look into this for you and you know that. Your comment is far from being genuine, so just say you think she's an irrelevant flop for criticising an artist you like and go. If she didn't get an exception then would Eli be receiving transphobic abuse every hour of the day from Taylor Swift fans?

Eli crashes out on X, calls Taylor a predator, and claims she made sombr unfollow her
She receives a daily, constant stream of transphobic abuse from Swifties on social media. What do you expect? Re: the predator comment, Taylor is a billionaire. Billionaires are parasitical and predatory. That seems to be a common consensus on this site, except, for some reason, when it comes to Taylor Swift.

I already checked and there is no previous thread.- Taylor introduced Travis to controversial Israeli restaurant
In a clip from 2024 Jason: "Do you like curry?" Travis: "Dude, you know I'm starting to open up to the Indian cuisine." Jason: "Your girl Tay's getting you opened up." Travis: "She is." Jason: "She's introducing new foods to you and it's been one of the greatest things that I've been happy about." Travis: "That and the Israeli spot in Philadelphia, Zahav." Jason: "Zahav, yep, shout out to Michael Solomonov." Travis: "It was awesome. I like that spot a lot." Michael Solomonov is an Israeli-American chef and co-owner of the hospitality group CookNSolo with Steve Cook, an American member of a prominent Reform Jewish family. Their portfolio includes the Philadelphia locations Zahav, an Israeli fine-dining restaurant, and Goldie, a vegan, kosher falafel shop. At least three workers at Goldie alleged to The Guardian in 2023 that they were fired from their jobs as a result of their pro-Palestinian views and activism, while another resigned in protest. Demonstrations took place outside Goldie in December of that year, which Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro and the White House denounced at the time as motivated by antisemitism. Protesters, current employees, and former employees rejected the notion that the restaurant was targeted because of its owners' ethnicities, instead arguing their objection is to the use of the restaurants by management to fundraise for Israel after the 7 October attacks. Solomonov and Cook had announced they would donate a day of restaurant group's profits, equal to over $100,000, to United Hatzalah, an Israeli medical non-profit that has been a supplier to the IDF during the ongoing war in Gaza. Two of the allegedly fired employees had worn Palestinian flag pins after a new policy was introduced banning the display of symbols unrelated to Goldie, while another had posted support for the demonstrations on X. Solomonv and Cook apologised to their employees for not communicating their political views more directly, stating they tried to "avoid discussing politics at work... to make everyone as comfortable as possible in the restaurant" (para. 12). They also have cited Palestinian influences on their dishes. Source- Why Selena stands out among her peers?
