Doja was my #1 artist on spotify wrapped once again. I was in her top 0.002% of listeners. I was 0.001% for a few years (2021-2022) but I was surprised to see i'm still one of her top fans!

Very much looking forward to seeing her live next November!

Your wrong, the era started off slow then all things turn around by feather. So yes the Deluxe saved the era.

Really hope when they plan the deluxe which is a relaunch of the era that they have an actual strategy in plan because the way RCA just threw their hands the second VIE underperformed is insane.

Hopefully they have playlisting for the new tracks & maybe throw older songs in there as well. She should get her own VEVO performances segment where she performs VIE. She needs to push the new singles hard & new vinyls ready to go!

I want to see this era win so badly because there needs to be a strong push.

That's not really how it happened. Nonsense had already saved the era and had become her first streaming and pop radio hit and several album tracks were surging on Spotify. The deluxe elevated the era and came at the perfect time for Feather to pick up on the momentum of Nonsense and Sabrina herself. Doja, on the contrary, has zero momentum for a deluxe to ride on currently.

I still think this is a great album (I mean I have the Paris vinyl!) but it's been DOA since she just randomly dropped the Stranger MV

I honestly feel like she should just move on from this era all together after the tour.

Deluxe should be a cute love letter for the fans, but no pushing involved unless something latches on, too many flops in a row could make any eventual comeback even harder.

The GP rejected the 80's sound, I highly doubt anything else will stick even if the quality is amazing

honestly I'm kinda sad they didn't push Cards as a single. Feels like it deserves to be a signature hit (like all of her album openers)

Agreed. If Scarlet's Deluxe flopped (and lets be honest the Claude songs were SO GOOD) then Vie's deluxe will do even worse.

For this reason I think its smart they didn't send another single to radio. Her best chance at another hit is with her next lead single or a hot feature.

her light airy hooks just never stick tbh, which unfortunately was this entire album outside of 2 songs

Carreer highlights even but nothing hit worthy (it doesn't help that OKLOSER, a discord mod anthem, was the only song pushed on radio).
there are no rules, she could be the first one to flip the script with a deluxe. Sabrina kinda did it, it's possible.

I honesty feel she should just release another album this year & leave the VIE era in 2025. It's clear nothing can save this era unfortunately.

We really don't need a deluxe. The standard is fantastic. If she has songs she wants to share she can simply add to the standard edition.
