Has there ever been an artist that had a letdown album rollout but turnt it around with a deluxe ever?

Just curious, I still want a deluxe.

The actually MV is too dark, colorwise, for me.

It doesn't represent the album theme, IMO.

Gorgeous has never been a fave of mine. It's a very cute song but sounds like Doja on autopilot.

Cant wait for the deluxe. I need another Up and Down, ACKNOWLEDGE ME, URRRGE level bop.

I could have sworn posts were made about it during album release week. Well if she's not the first then she still did her thing.

Been loving some of the tracks on this album it's a shame it's not doing more damage chart wise but hopefully the deluxe turns it around.

Even though it didn't lead to sustained chart success, her performance of Ahh! Men! on SNL went extremely viral on Twitter, like a handful of tweets with 3-10m views each all within a few days that had a ton of people discussing how incredible of a performer she is. It would really be in her team's best interest to keep booking her televised performances. Give us a Good Morning America and a late night show one, both of which being tracks that haven't been performed yet like don't go with Gorgeous or Jealous Type, and I think it'll really work out in her favor and lead to more viral moments. We need traditional promo for her because she is such a traditional STAR

Hi yall, just want to report back that the Bangkok show last weekend was FUN! (but I missed SAILORR's opening act :((( )

She put on such an energetic and WILD show. The staging was simple but effective. They were quite smart with the LED lights. She had only two backup dancers and one outfit the whole time. She carried the whole show herself.

I tried listening to Vie halfway through during release week then never revisited. Yet there was a segment of 3-4 songs that I didn't recognize and assumed they were from Vie, but that segment was SO GOOD. Everyone bopped along to the songs without even knowing them. It just shows her performance skills alone would deliver anything!

There was a segment that she (pretended?) did coke, white powder all over her mouth, her teeth bleeding, then she went fulllll dark wild crazy mode for like 4 songs.

At one point, she stopped the show after seeing someone waved their phones at her to ask for help (?). She told the crowd to make space for security to get to that person(s). Not sure what happened, but she was very professional.

The audience in Bangkok was so fun too, everyone dressed up and screamed the sh*t outta their lungs. Apparently Singapore attendees dressed up boring in comparison.

Kinda wish it was longer, but after Wonderfruit the week prior my legs kinda gave out by Doja's show so I guess that's good.

Anyway, 10sssss across the board. Everyone should definitely go see her. I will definitely try to go see her whenever she goes on tour on this part of the world.

P/S: Paint The Town Red was weirdly melody off, and that makes me feel relief cuz when I tried to karaoke this song two years ago I sounded like pig.
