A bit of an essay, but I never really understood the glaze Planet Her gets. It may just be people remembering the songs with better times perhaps? But I've never found myself revisiting the album in it's entirety too much. Options, Ain't ****, and Kiss Me More are the songs I find myself revisiting years later.

I will say the delivery on her raps overall on Planet Her and Hot Pink is a little more dynamic than what we received on Vie. For example, Need To Know has a relatively basic booty ass beat but her delivery is what made the song so much fun.

So in conclusion, Scarlet is still her best album and it's kinda mind boggling seeing how many people are now talking about it due to this new release. 
Well those who are talking about it who happen to know she has released something new....

Acts of Service is so frustrating cause it's trying too hard to be Agora 2.0 but the chorus IS really good and almost enough to save the song

 

problem is it gets too repetitive, she sings the same 4 lines in the chorus twice and there are three choruses so i wish by the second or third chorus she at least changed the lyrics a bit but the adlibs are good at least

 

the verses are so lame too especially the rap

SNL and Tonight Show back to back should help 

 

 

 

 

 

This is actually a pretty stable Day 5 update, many other 2025 "underperforming" albums fell harder (7 - 10%) on their fifth day

 

I'm glad she still has more promo lined up. Hopefully the TV appearances will create more buzz and push the album further.

doja cat is amazing, but vie cant really compete with am i drama. cardi is stronger rapper and album is filled with bops and bops for every mood at that,

doja cat delivered only one mood in this album and persona is much more reserved. scarlet can compare better and still cardi would eat her up.
