I feel like this is an old topic but someone dropped a video a few days ago and it's already got 120k, so being the tea loving homosexual that I am, I got curious about any fresh takes others might have, and whether you predict this fallout is close to being patched up or has time left to run?

I can't even imagine them having a reason to do so  Them interacting made enough sense in 2020, when Dua was in her prime & Miley was reemerging, both with similar retro influences, during a pandemic where they were (virtually) in the same place targeting the same audience. Now it's like, what do they have in common? Why would they be hanging out?

I think clearly its very one-sided that its Miley that has these issues with the song and/or Dua... 

I don't think there's an actual feud, sure there might have been awkward moments (mainly around the whole Prisoner thing) but both of them don't seem like the type of people that would actively be feuding with another artist

I honestly think the whole "feud" which is very one-sided if its even real, is so dumb and was mainly fabricated by stans with nothing better to do than rile 2 fanbases up. Hence why a lot of smilers tend to be ODHs. I feel like an outlier stanning both ladies 

 

Also the song isn't even that big, ALY literally outstreamed and outsold despite not charting as well so claiming Dua "stole" streams when its not even the most streamed song on PH or FN is just hilarious

I don't think they were ever really friends in the first place. Just peers who had a base level of mutual respect for one another, enough so they decided to collab one time. It's probably less a feud and more indifference.

There is literally no feud. They were never that close to begin with, and things probably became awkward after Miley split with Andrew, since Dua was a close friend of his at the time. 

 

The only time Miley has mentioned Dua Lipa since the promo for Prisoner ended was when she was directly asked in an interview why Prisoner made it onto the album. She said it was a choice made by the label and she personally think a Dua feature would fit better with the sound of ESV. I don't see how that could be taken as negative.
