Monthly listeners are the worst metric for measuring an artist's popularity because it's literally just based on how many playlists their songs are in the platform The real metric now is tours, something the labels can't fake or manipulate and where Gen Z artists are doing it really well. For example, you can see Post Malone, Dua Lipa or Olivia Rodrigo selling out stadiums, or Benson Boone, Sombr, Tate and Sabrina filling multiple arenas per city WW… while you see Katy Perry struggling to fill an arena in places like NY or Las Vegas. This decade is being run by nostalgia. I can guarantee you that for 3/4 of the artists on that list their most popular songs on Spotify are ones from more than 10 years ago, because people aren't interested in their new music Nostalgia is selling a lot, but it's only selling memories and it's temporary. Like, Hilary Duff debuted with cute first week sales but her album disappeared from everywhere in less than two weeks lol

To be honest, yep because her tour isn't getting a good reception, which shows that people really aren't interested in her as an artist.. Even now, they can't be compared. Dua had two moderate hits and a really successful tour with her last era. Doja flopped in every possible way, I think Illusion has the same streams as VIE.
