Addison but both are better than anything that Taylor has put out since evermore

Well tbh Madonna couldn't stand Addison if this were the 80s LMAOO.    Addison is more talented while Madonna relies on shock value

Addison wishes she had Madonnas discography considering her album is a Madonna wannabe

Finally, a thread where 30 year old balding ATRL gays cannot glaze Addison :ryan3:

Thank you for your service @TayDuaStan

Addison is quite good but y'all are doing way too much.

COAF takes this no contest

Some of you just need to say the quiet part out loud and say you miss unapologetic white women with middle of the ground music and visuals that don't challenge audiences but also don't bore them, who come from republican backgrounds but think it's cool and subversive to not be a bigoted republican themself, instead of pretending this girl is some revelation. She gives Britney but without the hits or iconic performances or magnetism or culture pushing moments or general pop culture genius intuition. She's the spitting image of what a gen x white man who thinks rock is the only real music imagines when somebody says pop star. Pop is really really really in the trenches if this album has y'all this worked up. It's not bad but it's really not worthy of these comparisons. We used to have a never ending supply of Addisons and every one of them was more interesting than she is and the glazing is getting ridiculous and only setting her up for drags from people who don't share the same nostalgia for blandness. There's a reason my generation is clutching onto the Taylor's and Beyonce's from the previous generation while ignoring attempts to create girls like her. We want personality.

coadf was an album that Madonna earned through pushing both the sound and narrative around pop music for more than a decade straight leading up to it before allowing herself to return to straight up well executed dance-pop form. They aren't comparable.

and before somebody mistakes my honest observation as an attempt at a skulldrag, go look at the votes for Addison in the poll and tell me I didn't hit the bullseye on what her appeal really is.

Cute attempt at trying to make ATRLers hate on Addison. But her album still delivered, sorry sis. :cm:

Y'all Addison girlies are getting too cocky...

Miss Rae has a cute debut, but you should compare her to her peers like Tate McCrae and whoever else is a republican pop girlie.

OP is not an Addison fan, quite the contrary. They're trying to set her up by comparing her literal debut to one of the greatest dance pop albums ever made.

Pls, that bland ass album wishes to be as good as Confessions.
