Lemonade or Renaissance? Which actually deserved AOTY more? Let's argue.
Even though I prefer Renaissance sonically, Lemonade is the quintessential Beyoncé era and album. It reflects the apex of her mid-career repeak. Lemonade had the perfect mix of acclaim, commercial success, and cultural impact. It was also a masterful way of publicly addressing the fallout of Jay-Z's infidelity. That deeply personal component adds a lot of punch to the album.

Lady Gaga
My friend and I made the impulsive decision to buy tickets to Gaga's DC show on the 23rd. Getting to see her twice in six months... thank you Jesus (is the new black)

Better song : Government Hooker vs Garden of Eden
I loooove the 'So hit the lights' too, especially in the live intro with the sweeping symphony and choir. The verses are still strong, but yeah nowhere near as strong as the verses in songs like Poker Face or Bad Romance. 'You're turning green from thee ah-dren-ah-lahn' is so great though.

Lady Gaga
Off topic, but I learned this past Monday that I matched into my desired specialty and will be a resident physician this coming June! So thankful to Gaga whose music in no small way changed and continues to change my life. And thank you to so many of the users here for making me laugh even when medical school was whipping my ass

Better song : Government Hooker vs Garden of Eden
Garden of Eden is such a strong, quintessentially Gaga track. It follows the structure of her early signature smashes without feeling redundant. The way the bass rumbles in the prechorus is so much fun. An incredibly well-crafted song. Government Hooker is more interesting thematically and sonically. The operatic intro, the dirty, gritty production, the wailing chorus, the stupid, sexy lyrics. There's really nothing quite like it. Such a great deep cut. If I had to pick one to keep it would be Government Hooker only because it's so unique. Two of my favorite songs by her though.

Did Gaga think Born This Way would be her "Express Yourself" moment?
Born This Way still has more cumulative streams than HIH despite not being released in the streaming era and sold nearly 9m digital copies in in 2011 alone I guess you can throw a cute little party when viral hit HIH finally surpasses the aged and forgotten Born This Way on Spotify... whenever that happens!!

Sinners Cast get called "n***er" at BAFTA during presentation
This is horrible. The context of the offending person having Tourette's does not make this feel much better. Not even an apology has been offered? There's no excuse. At the very least, the BBC should have caught it.

Yes. Born This Way has as a phrase is synonymous with the marriage equality movement of the 2010s. The song is an annual pride anthem.
