Ariana has more hits and let's be honest, with Eternal Sunshine we can say that she is also more respected than Adele when it comes to the critics

 

adele may have had a bigger peak but she tanked by her fourth album, while Ariana is way more consistent

Adele seems like a thing of the past because she never evolved past her corny songs about heartbreak and lame ballads. Meanwhile, Ariana has only gotten better when it comes to music and is reaching new career heights in acting. Ariana's career seems more promising while Adele's career seems stagnant 

People can just say anything. 

21 alone probably sold more than Ariana's entire career.

Ariana is a great artists but this claim is just ridiculous. Adele despite only having four albums is just huge.
