  1. This is my actual dream. Get it done *******
  2. I once saw a documetary about this place, how it is basically an MAGA elite paradise...
  3. this is not correct, im sorry but wtf
  4. The Gallagher brothers are the most overrated british band ever, probably second only to the beatles. Plus, they are ******* twats. They act all high and mighty but they are stupid little boys. They used to say they would punch the Spice Girls but would always run out whenever they were in the same room. As Mel C put it: "Does anyone notice how Noel Gallagher run out after he said that?" and "Come and Have a Go if You're Hard Enough!" I LOVE how Mel C was always on their neck! Proper rock star she was!!
  5. Blur will always be the best British rock band, end of. Not only did they appreciate other genres - and Damon Albarn has been working with artists from all over the world since, proving how open he is to different sounds and identities - but they also seemed quite open overall. I mean, they wrote the Boys + Girls classique! Nice that Shirley has backtracked, and has apologised (even if she does still shade them as a marketing band lol).
  6. I really hate it when people talk out of their arse just because they don't like the band's work. Hell, I dispise Taylor Swift and what she represents, but I can aknowlege she is the most successful artist in the world who literally sells out Stadium tours and has impacted the music industry in many ways. Maybe people need reading comprehension skills but they also need to let go of shame and hatred, god damn...
  7. He is so hot and they look so hot together, damn!
  8. True. Same goes for Spice Up Your Life, 2 Become 1 and Stop to be honest. People just know them! An iconic band that should be doing more music and touring. They have the demand, it's sad two of them don't want to!
  9. Are we really comparing streamings on Spotify by US acts who get better playlisting and bigger audiences over there? The truth is that the Spice Girls have not only the sales to back it up (85million), the touring legacy and the iconic songs - songs like Wannabe, Stop, Spice Up Your Life, Say You'll Be There, 2 Become 1 and Viva Forever are KNOWN all over the world. They were major hits, of the kind most artists would scream for. They were nominated for a Mercury Prize (the most prestigious in the UK), won numerous Brits and Ivor Novello awards, the second and third most prestigious in the UK, and major accolades the world over. Only the snobby Grammys ignored them at the time (as they did with most pop acts). Spice and Spiceworld are to this day the best selling girlband albums of all time, the world over. Beyond that, you know what they had? CULTURAL IMPACT. They drove not just the women and gay empowering messaging, which literally changed cultural language and compositions in the UK and beyond. They were not the first to do this, of course, but they did it on a level that literally impacted millions of people and changed culture. But they also changed the industry. Britney, NSINC, Destiny's Child, All Saints, etc etc came on the hills of them opening doors. After them, came a pop rennaissance that was not seen for ages in the western world. Literally. And they did it themselves, with music that stands the test of time, which they wrote themselves. That's unique in this industry. Destiny's Child called them 'pioneers', and all the industry great artists - from the Rolling Stones, to Prince, to Madonna, celebrated them. Current artists from Adele, to Charli to Billie, all credit them as major influences. Not only that, but they were the first major pop band to ensure that all of them split their royalties equally and that they were to be credited in all their songs as song-writers. All of this was done by partnering with organisations and distribution deals via their own Spice Girls LTD company, which still runs today and holds most of the rights to their work (I think their masters are still with Universal though). Not only that, but they also were one of the first pop acts - definitely girlband - to have clauses of 'final decision' where ALL of them have to agree before anythig gets released/put out there. This was a major turn in women's rights in the music business. Other bands followed that business model afterwards. You might not like the Spice Girls, that's fine. I am a fan but I also have reservations, for instance. But to diminish their success and impact just because they don't stream on Spotify as well as Destiny's Child? Please... give me a break, and gather some perspective.
  10. This wedding is such a clear indicament of where we are at as a society, and all these morons play along.
  11. I hope she gets Best Dance Album at the Grammys and AT LEAST gets a nomination for Album of The Year!! Anything less would be a crime
  12. (lets not ruin this party now pls)
  13. In many ways, Ray of Light, Bedtime Stories and Erotica gave birth to Confessions, so it makes total sense imo
