You can apply that logic to all occasions though. Someone who used a surrogate might grow to resent the child because it isnt 'theirs' either. Many people who conceive grow up to resent their children as well for a miriad of reasons. Using a surrogate - specially a 'bought'/paid for one - is using someone's body for your genetic disposition. It is wrong as a baseline principle.

No. It's ******* wrong and based on genetics of 'having one of my own/like me' which is honestly ****** up. If you can't have a child and would love to raise a child, adopt one. Simple as. So many children the world over need a home. People who think they are so special they HAVE TO HAVE someone else carry a child for them, are sick in the head and honestly should be locked up and go through strong therapy. The world doesn't revolve around you and you are not special enough to 'have to get your own genes passed on'. Grow the **** up.

see, this is so so so wrong... she has done all there is to do as a singer. she has a condition so debilitating she could literally be in pain just by overstimulation of her brain. To pretend that this is somewhat fine so that some folk can get them kicks for what used to be?... it's late stage capitalism, and she - and everyone involved - is as much a victim of it. It's sad.
