It’s kinda funny that R. Kelanie Martinez had such a big debut with her newest album and that those numbers still come nowhereee near the absolute dominance of Midnights  or even Fearless TV for that matter. Yet, it’s all that I’m seeing all over my Tik Tok FYP atm!

Some of you really want ts11 this year? . I can understand someone didn't like Midnights but still I feel so exhausted after 3 albums between 2019 and 2020 plus 2 the re recordings + midnights + this gigantic and very discussed tour.

 

A new album needs to come after a relaxing period...at least 7 8 months without new videos or music.

 

We are lucky to have the vault tracks and everything as a snack now and there so I want a new album at least 6 7 months after this tour ends.

She has a very strong pop album right now. Cruel Summer Is already a streaming and viral hit, doesn't even need a push "to be an hit".

 

There is no reason imo to push a dated song when your freshier material is already smashing right now.

You have the fresh smashing and the dated doing great too. It's already a 100% win.

Tbh, I don't know how one can feel exhausted from new music. You either listen to it if you want to or you don't. 

 

I love Midnights, but I still would be here for a new album this year. Do I think it would be the best move for her career to release TS11 that soon when Midnights is still smashing like it is? Probably not. But in the end what I care about is the music and if she has an album in store, I'd rather she release it than sleep on it. 

Speak Now and Treacherous being the surprise songs makes a great show. Both songs have such vivid imagery. I can picture that wedding so clearly and the honeymoon era that she seems to experience in Treacherous is articulated so wonderfully.

It would be nice to have two more re-records and then TS11. Every record that she brings out is quality, so the more the merrier to be honest. Though I do love the eras she creates for each album, so having them spread out also works really well. The wait for Speak Now is fun to me, it's nice to keep guessing when it's going to be released.

i want to listen to her music cause i'm a fan but even a fan can be exhausted from a continue exposition + new material. Waiting for something can be a pleasure too. As someone said a long time ago "to await a pleasure, is itself a pleasure" .

“At least I did one thing right” was actually about the Red cover. Only album cover She ever got right!

With shows 3 days in the row, she isn't going to change songs that have dancers and significant imagery b/c doing so will require rehearsals when everyone is rightfully resting.  So there is only a few songs that are practical to change. 

 

She can change the song in the invisible string/the 1 slot. She can likely swap out tis the damn season for ivy.   Unlikely but could swap out tolerate it for right where you left me. She could change archer but she uses a lot of imagery for that one so  unlikely.
