Same. I know a lot of people didn't like Carolina but it's one of my favourite droplets from her. Coney Island is also top 3 on evermore

It's not often that so many displays of perfect taste are found in a single comment. 

 

Carolina remains top 20 in her discography for me and would have been absolutely perfect in between the masterpieces coney island and ivy on evermore.

I think we're getting the next re-recording in Q3 or Q4. I wish these were coming out faster, but from the success of Red (Taylor's Version), it's clear that she wants to give each era their own moment and treat them as 'new' albums.

Because they want to let Midnights have its moment. The album is still predicted to be #3 next week.

Personally, I like the fact that the re-recordings are not all out yet because that means we are likely getting at least one project every year.

I don’t think it would have performed quite as well, but lbr… Sacred has always been the favorite child. It was always going to sell the best along with 1989 TV. 

 

I’m actually curious to see how She will try to top Sacred with 1989 TV. It’s going to be very difficult to match the hype for ATW10MVTVFTV, Her versions of Better Man and Babe, and top tier vault tracks like IBYTAM, Forever Winter, and Nothing New. 

 

I feel like if there were any additional truly amazing Max Martin bangers recorded for 1989, they wouldn’t have been left off the album  Sort of expecting more This Love type songs (which I love, don’t get me wrong) from the vault.

This would be genuinely so disappointing to me. I would love to see that tiny glimpse of how she evolved in her home genre during the part of her career where we saw the least of it.

this is what is gonna happen.

Speak now is coming in oct nov with announcement in jun july (everything like Red Tv).

from now to the next month she will release a summer single from midnights (likely a remix with a big name like for bad blood)

“Country songs” is a stretch. Some of the stuff cut could have been grouped with the more popier songs on Red or Release Now.

I think she’s recording ts11 tbh. My guess is all the re recordings are done. Wonder what ts11 will be. I’m sure it’ll be pop but unsure what sub genre 

 

in regards to 1989 Tv, they asked her if she’d record 3 country songs. Pretty sure everything was always pop. In terms of what was cut, it was probably mostly jack tracks as BMR wasn’t confident in him as a producer yet. I still think some Max and Tedder or Heap tracks were cut tho as she talks about when choosing a tracklist she doesn’t like too much of one type of song

this love is not 100% country but it's like country in a red way. If i'm not wrong she wrote the song for Red. If the vault songs are like 7-8 new songs something like that it's ok like this love sounds good on the standard edition.
