It was at 4.4M SPS units in the US last November and has sold ~350k units since, so it should be at 4.7-4.8M units right now.

Likely already 5x Platinum eligible with shipments + RIAA units are always slightly higher.

I see the people that were having meltdowns over Midnights' commercial performance have gone quiet all of a sudden. All those 'SOS is washing Midnights' 'Midnights will have worse longevity than Hair Loss' essays and for what?

It was clear the Tour was gonna help Midnights (and all her catalog) and I'm not even sure if she is selling physical copies at her concerts or not. The only issue was how it was gonna hold up until March and it did amazing. Now we'll have it Top 10 until August and then we'll see, but by then it'll be bigger than any other album this decade except those Morgan Wallen monster albums.

This is so....weird. Most of the reactions to Toe's breakup online have been great fortunately, still i can't help but side eye this (loud) portion of her fanbase that's constantly villainizing Joe and acting like Taylor was being held hostage and wasn't being herself for years, or doing the most to paint her as a savage/petty queen who was doing charity dating a poor wannabe-actor from some British village for 6 years  And let's not even talk about the other unhinged part of the fanbase that shall not be named, if we can even call them fans of Taylor

the way she has 31 songs outdoing entire albums by so called global super stars 

Screaming at how TWELVE Lover songs (including many album tracks like Daylight, London Boy, DBATC, Cornelia Street, Afterglow, The Archer) are outstreaming ME!th  and the it's still doing 300+k daily so it's not even a bad figure. maybe Lover stans really won

Will Billboard provide the overall number of Lover if it enters the top 10?

This doesn’t include pre-release units for ME!, YNTCD, The Archer and Lover (s), right? I don’t think Billboard includes any activity before the album was released but RIAA does.

It's interesting that Joe loved Taylor at her worst but couldn't cope with the best she's ever been, in terms of her career, obviously. But when you think about it with reputation Taylor painted the picture of a damsel in distress perfectly, which he was probably into. The Lover era was all about him. And folkmore was pretty much a them against the world moment. **** really hit the fan with Red TV when Taylor started pulling her usual antics to sell the music.

 

Her deciding to write Mastermind makes so much sense now.
