What songs do you guys want to be made singles for the remaining Re-recordings?

For me, reputation needs to be both Don’t Blame Me and Getaway Car - both with blockbuster music videos. Getaway Car in particular needs like a mini Hollywood blockbuster movie. I feel like radio would love it too. Plus I think both songs represent both sides of reputation quite well.

For Speak Now, Enchanted is the obvious choice but I’d also like to see Haunted get a chance to shine as a single.

1989 is a tough one because I think she made the perfect choices for singles during its original release. There isn’t a song on there that’s screaming out to be a single in the way that the reputation tracks do. Maybe show could pull a scrapped song from the vault (write a new smash) and make it a single?

Debut is similar. There isn’t an obvious single choice. Perhaps it will have a more low-key release like Fearless TV.

Nobody talking about this? It’s basically a national charity run for the next 6 months. Endless goodwill and very supportive of the local communities.

For 1989 I would love an actual video for new romantics or wonderland … and a vault track as a single with a video… preferably the Harry collab :eli:

would love a mini movie for rep tv too… could include Idsb/ don’t blame me/ getaway car/ literally any song and vault tracks

today at work “all of the girls” came on and one of my coworkers was like “is that taylor? can we play don’t blame me next?” :dies: and a customer was there as well and started talking about her hearing that some university was teaching classes on taylor’s artistry and how she had heard about it on the news :dies: she really is huge right now.

The Beatles comparisons really do make more and more sense for every day that goes by.

I can’t believe we still don’t have a name for it lol. Beatlemania and Bieber Fever and 1 Direction Infection were coined at the height of their social frenzy. This is pretty much where we are with Taylor too. We need... “Swift-itis” or something to take off :gaycat2:

Anyone have the bad bunny tour boost from last year? I need to see it to get a sense of what to expect in terms of stability because surely she’s not gonna stabilize at 73M. I’m thinking 50-55M

Idk, but he was super stable.

He already got a pretty big boost from the tour announcement though. That just stayed there

I agree with all this, except for 1989 (Taylor’s Version). She could easily make a music video for “Clean” or even a proper one for “New Romantics”, considering they are both fan favorites. I would be here for a From The Vault track getting its time to smash though.

I’m really disappointed in the merch selection I’ve seen this far….

taylor usually comes through when it comes to her merch (rep tour hihi) but this time around it’s literally just the tour poster plastered everywhere

With Bad Bunny it seems like the Tour gave him insane stability rather than a catalogue boost, but it's very difficult to know how much of that stability comes from the Tour and how much comes just from his last album's appeal and the fact that it was summer in the southern hemisphere and his music is widely used in party-like situations. UVST is still doing 15M daily streams today so it clearly wasn't all because of the tour.

So his tour boost mostly just stabilised his numbers.

So I guess Taylor will stay above 60m+ :clap3:

Those are all pop songs just like AOTGYLB... The thing with DFY Remix was that it came on EVERY TIME you played any major song english song on the charts. It came after Flowers and Flowers Demo, it came after As It Was and also after other songs that were smashing at the moment.
