I feel like she can’t really go back on her commitment to rerecording them at this point, though - like the fanbase was so hyped for Red that they smashed it into the stratosphere. I honestly think they’re all probably done being actually recorded besides Reputation, too. Certainly there’s something a little suspicious going on overall, though. And even if she hasn’t purchased them behind the scenes, I think that’s one of her goals - deflate their value to near zero since she’s going to refuse to license them and will replace them with rerecordings on playlists and radio, then buy them dirt cheap as the only person who’d have any use for them.

My theory is that the re-recordings will be reserved for her “years off” ie the years between studio album releases (when she would have previously been on tour). That’s why I’m convinced TS10 will be with us before the year is over.

I think she saw how Fearless and Red TVs went well, and so she’ll commit with her words to complete the re-recordings, hoping to get the old masters eventually cheaper, and get them back for dirt.

 

The good thing about her taking her time now is probably the improved quality especially after “some” questionable vocal performances and production changes. 
 

I hope she’s still a perfectionist, and sees feedback other than “yaaas” from Lover stans.

But she said some weeks ago that her music was stolen from her, that would be a weird thing to say without adding you got it back if that’s what happened

I don’t think she got her masters back. She only said a few weeks ago that her work was stolen and we got This Love TV like a month and a bit ago, why release the TV version if she got them back… unless she’s still planning to release the re records which I believe she would if she got her masters back, but then using that as an explanation as to why we don’t have another re recording yet doesn’t make sense 

This silence is deafening 

Taylor should know that I really need Dear John TV by late September.
