Olivia Rodrigo - 'you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love'
This is the most cohesive, solid and most rich sounding album of Olivia yet. My three faves are maggots for brains, stupid song and expectations. Maggots for brains might be my most fave song of hers tied with lacy. She clearly perfected the pop-rock sound she was already excellently executing the past two albums. I loved Guts more than Sour but I felt like it had some dull moments squeezed in between timeless songs. Sour on the other hand feels too commercial, sometimes its lost its soul, for me. Girl so in love feels as though her team really conceptualized and made this album as a whole. They didn't sacrificed the quality of the less boppy songs. Excellent

Hot 100 final preds: Taylor #1x2 (405p), Ella #2 (294p), Olivia #3 (272p)
Taylor needs to have a break for at least a year not for other artists to shine but for the sake of these haters and their poor mental health if you want to beat her yee haw soundtrack song then buy the other song

Taylor Swift - “I Knew It, I Knew You”
The melody reminds me of old Taylor. It's like a warm hug on a sunny day. It's like Friday afternoon playing with your friends. For the first time in a long time, this feels so natural for Taylor. When criticisms about Showgirl being Taylor on autopilot mode, I get them that's why I appreciate this song a lot. This song isn't trying to be something. It's just Taylor storytelling with an infectious Swiftian melody in the background. It's so perfect.

Taylor Swift - “I Knew It, I Knew You”

Olivia Rodrigo - "drop dead"
The intro reminds me sooo much of Gatlin's Talking to Myself. I really like this song. The album cover matches the vibes of the song. If the goal of this lead single was to introduce the sound of the new album then I guess it's done its job. But if the goal was to ignite the hype, I don't think this will.

All the albums Taylor Swift has blocked from going #1 on the Billboard 200
