I know this is a joke, but imagine how high her standards are to be saying Midnights, her 10th album, released 4 years ago (and followed by 2/3 albums + 2 TVs), that accumulated nearly 13B streams, is having poor longevity because it's "only" doing 3M daily. And the worst part is... I kinda agree

There's no need to study. Midnights is a terrible album. Friendly reminder that even Anti-Hero peaked OUTSIDE of the callouts top 10. It was a forced album. Anti-Hero doing 300k daily is embarrassing let alone Lavender Haze and Karma in the 100K range.

AOTY Midnights is a great album, 3 million daily is low for Taylor's standards but she has released so many songs after Midnights that it got lost because of new releases.

Midnight rain needs to go viral on tiktok.

Either way, the last time she updated a song was in 2022 BEFORE Midnights, just throw the cash at them and get those plaques
