Surprised that overall the track 17s are kind of a serve (except Lover, but who's surprised at this point?)

As far as I'm concerned, I have False God for track 13 and Would've Could've Should've for track 19 as winners. 

 

Debut and Fearless are actually the only two missing at least one winner. Debut is understandable but seeing Fearless with a big fat 0 made me sad because overall the album is top 5 or top 6 for me.

Just wanted to see which album performed better with that metric so anytime a song is ranked #1, I attributed to the album a number of points corresponding to the number of songs there was to rank. For example willow winning track 1 is getting 11 points cause all 11 albums have a track 1. On the other hand The Manuscript only gets 1 point because it's #1 but without any competition. 

 

So using that system, I have:

 

1. Red (62 pts)

2. evermore (54 pts)

3. folklore (42 pts)

4. Speak Now (23 pts)

5. TTPD (12 pts)

6-7-8. 1989, Reputation, Lover (11 pts)

9. Midnights (6 pts)

10-11. Debut, Fearless (0 pt)

 

While this would be an accurate way to rank my top 4 overall and mayyyybe #5, it all goes downhill from there.

No. folklore lived up to the expectation that a TS album would be like Speak Now and Red. It was the first real Taylor album in 8 years. It was 1989 that set up a different—and lesser—expectation for what a TS album should be. 
 

I can't stop listening to Is It Over Now?. It's a difficult to sing (for me) but I love it so much 🥹
