I just recently started to listen to her albums so I'm curious what everyone thinks about her and her music. She seems to be rather controversial but I don't get why?

She's tryhard as **** with that stupid skeleton suit and guitar smashing, the only good thing she's done is defend Amber Heard.

No thoughts, she's just another cringe nepobaby with music that lacks any flavor in it just like Gracie Abrams

most songs ive heard from her sound like a watered down tiktok-ified version of another sufjan stevens song, and like sometimes it's nice for a lil 3 min groove but like .. overall i'd rather just get the full experience by listening to sufjan 

i never got into her, her music is so boring

 

and i usually love that style of music but hers does nothing for me

 

Love her. She has a very distinct sound/style of songwriting that really resonated with me throughout the pandemic. I'm curious about what she'll do next, I'd love for her to switch up a bit and experiment with diff instruments more. A folkier album would be great too

I really like her albums and I Know the End is a masterpiece. I have listened to the Punisher countless times. 

Never heard any of her songs. The way some people rave about Boygenius makes me think that anything she does is overrated.

omg same  I was struggling to sleep after getting Covid back then and putting Punisher on at night really helped. Lana's audio poetry book did the same trick too

I looked her up abd I can't find any reason why she would be a nepobaby?

Her two solo albums are great to me. Very strong 8 out of 10s. But honestly not a fan of the boygenuis stuff. Just bland to me.

Punisher is one of the best albums of the decade. Her solo work is amazing

Punisher is a 10/10

I think she's talented and enjoyed her Eras Tour set (there were no duds there!) but I don't really listen to her often. 
 

My main thought about her is that she's really missing her moment and failing to capitalize on the momentum of her rising star. Whatever audience she gained with those SZA and Taylor collabs and opening on the Eras Tour, whatever hype she got out of the boygenius acclaim… the longer she waits, the less it will matter when she does finally release.
