For years I would have said Promiscuous, but I think Hips is more of the stand out smash looking back. Promiscuous was inescapable for sure, but at the same time it was just another slay produced by Timbaland.

Both amazing songs but Hips Don't Lie feels bigger to me. Like the song itself sounds ans feels so grand. One of the best songs ever made.

And it's miles better than Promiscuous as well

Hips Don't Lie but because I have many memories of this song as a child and the way it blends seductive lyrics with culturally conscious themes. I never knew there was en English version until years later. She has scrubbed the Spanish version from pretty much every place except several YouTube videos with the audio. Have always known it as Será, Será (Las Caderes No Mienten), lol. And yes, it is better than the English version, in my opinion.

Hips Don't Lie. Nelly has better bops on Loose than Promiscuous.

I've hated hips don't like since it came out. For some reason I never got into it. Do like whenever whereever. 
 

Promiscuous is one of the best songs of the 2000s.
