A trooper tbh. The fact he hasn't came in here and cussed everyone out despite constantly being asked the same dumb questions and seeing the same dumb complaints after explaining he's doing what all that he can while dealing with the owner's incompetence is…admirable.

A couple updates:

 

- Mods are assisting with installing the bots we need for the discord. We will be inviting some members (I already have a list in mind) to test things out. 
 

- The issue with making a new forum is ATRL is *the* brand. A new forum with a new name won’t hit the same — even if it has no loading or speed issues (remember newatrl). ATRL stats plummeted when they rebranded as PopFusion or whatever it was called.

 

- I have considered purchasing a new domain and setting up a cloud forum temporarily until atrl can be fixed but I don’t want to waste the time/money doing that for no one to post.

Also @penguintim thank you so, so much for the banners you’ve designed. It’s been a very big help to me and I’m so appreciative for your kindness.

Thank you for all your hard work king. ATRL is obviously just a website, so I hope you're taking care of yourself first and foremost, but it means a lot that you even care this much.  I know this website does mean a lot to people, myself included, so your hard work does mean a lot in the end.

If you have access to mysql, you could export the database with all of its tables and import it into the database of a new site and set up forwarding, through either domain forwarding, PHP forwarding, or JS forwarding. Maybe even just for users who are logged in, so only people who are contributing to the site are pushed to the other one. I think Invision also just has an out of the box option to download the database from its admin tools somewhere.

Our server security is set up like the Department of Defense lol. Don’t have access to export. I could set up a redirect though to whatever new site we make by taking this place offline and pushing all traffic there. Still doesn’t mean people will 1) join and 2) post.

 

Might do a site wide survey gauge in interest though. 
 

There so many plans we’ve held off because of the issues (original content like interviews, a podcast, album and TV reviews, etc). You have no idea how many interview opportunities I had to turn down since last summer. *sigh*
