Well, Ryan, no, he doesn't have to. V has never cared about being better than the other members, selling more, being higher on the charts, etc. Of course, every artist likes to be good on the charts, but he just wanted to make the music he wanted. And we respect his wishes. An artist's music is not meant to appeal to everyone. Even Jungkook makes pop music that everyone prefers, but they still criticize him for not having a musical identity. It's impossible to please everyone. So even though it's pointless to compare him to Jimin or JK, you can clearly see that he doesn't lag behind so much. V makes the music he truly wants to make. Those who like his songs listen to them, those who don't don't. And his organic status on the charts shows this. Maybe one day he will make music in different genres. But I would prefer him to do it at his own pace and desire, because he wants to. Not because of the chart pressure.

V has seemed to be really into rock music lately, which is a genre I never thought he would get into. But who knows? We'll just have to wait and see^^

I didn’t realize Last Festival by TWS was an outlier. How many times are they going to make the same song? Countdown! Sounds like multiple other songs of theirs.

Since Miss A disbandment, I don't think they even talk. No one can really say if it was out of resentment over Suzy's enormous success/busy schedule compared to the rest...or if they simply just weren't close and went in separate directions.

up to touch they were very close since like any other group they were hanging a lot together and Fei and Suzy were living together in the dorm. But when suzy blew up JYP was in a very bad economic position so he milked her and put the group aside. Now, since suzy was always away and the mebers rarely had any group activities its only given that they wont be very close. There was some tension prolly after hush when the girls start getting a lot of hate from the public. Suzy revealed in an interview that she used to share her solo activities money with her members (which is a practise that all groups do in the first years). So stupid netizens were calling the other 3 leeches, ugly, cackroaches, there was fat shaming to min and some racism to the chinese members as well. Now if i were the Miss3 i would have been pissed to cause not only we waste our talent, and better years waiting when suzy has a free schedule but now we get hate on top of that!

 

Imagine being a very succesfull group with every song of your career being a hit and only having 6 singles Says A had it the worst from any other fandom, we were literally starving for content. 

 

When they recall the past they seem very mature about it. They dont seem to have ill feelings about suzy but only to the situation the were put in.

Yeah it was a sad situation for the rest of the girls, Suzy totally eclipsed them, but it's also not her fault that JYP was pushing her so hard individually. It was easy money for JYP, but the group really suffered overall.

 

I'm pretty sure this story is a major reason why JYP got spooked and didn't push anyone in TWICE or ITZY early on, even if there was potential for a member to break out as an it girl.

 

Probably that was a mistake, but I can also see why the company just decided to avoid that style of promotion/management after what happened with Miss A.
