People want to see the best Korean performers of all time irl. YASSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Love my girl Somi but it's amazing that she's almost 10 years into her career as an idol and she's still stiff af doing choreo

Tbh IVE felt so big it a few years ago, almost like they could have followed (not surpassed) BLACKPINK's global route. Starship completely mismanaged them after I AM.

Golden's success is the absolute confirmation lol.

Just back from Blackpink in London

- Went the first night & it was miserable with the heatwave.

- Only Rose spoke to the audience, it felt like the Rose solo show at some points, her set was way longer than the rest of them too…

- the Rosie popup was overpriced & queue management was terrible. Cute goods.
- the Blackpink pop up was much better managed but the goods were even more expensive & way uglier. 225£ for an ugly jacket? Yeah no.

- No dua lipa?? I was sure she would have made an appearance.

- Needed more screens. Very basic production.

- There was loads of empty seats & they even closed sections without telling people.

(This was during the encore)

Overall : they have lots of hype songs so they were fun and the crowd was great. Didn't know a lot of the solo songs. Not a bad concert at all but definitely overpriced, and I really think they just needed a new album to sell the rest of the tickets or maybe just leave it as one day concert.

My friend said it was basically the same set list as the last time she went so maybe that's why tickets didn't sell too.

Why do they sound like they are singing with a Korean accent? :clownny:

I don't disagree about IVE's fumble when it comes to title tracks and direction but are we still pretending Golden would be a hit without being tied to an animated movie?

Dark Farts maybe, but Dirty Twerk was needed to flush out the fomo mys/blinks.

Disagree. IVE was always big in Korea but their international presence was never that big. It has always been Wonyoung & some girls.

I don't think she practices often which is the issues. She's a good dancer but just doesn't promote much and likely doesn't do much most of the year

The two year time gap hurt this. The way she would've smashed with ABCD if she had been able to use Jihyo's debut slot as a cb :wanda:

Jihyo had a solo?

Who is a Western artist that you can see Girls' Generation collab with In 2027? I know that ain't ever gonna happen anymore, but say SM actually tries for once's and hooks them up with an artist that fits thier style.

I lowkey want them to snag a Britney Feature :jonny6: #NotDelusional @Eternium

You say this about every song every other day sis

This album is 10 years old this month. It still sounds so fresh. I love it so much. :heart2: I think the 80s / early 90s city pop vibes will never die. They're just evergreen, nostalgic, and beautiful, even if you weren't alive to experience them. :rip:
