Jihyo's solo fills me up with so much rage tbh  Like the EP was actually fantastic, but the title track? Wtf was that. You have a once in a generation all-rounder idol and you give her a run of the mill upbeat song instead of an actual statement and cultural reset that plays to all her strengths. Like she deserved to be Hyolyn's daughter, with an actual chance of success. I know the mini sold a lot because of her fanbase but it just came and went. 
Also the timing was weird as hell, I would have probably given Nayeon a comeback before Jihyo got her solo debut. That way Nayeon could have rivaled POP! In terms of success with ABCD and they would have found more time to polish Jihyo's solo.

I dont know how much input she had for her album songs but just basing on her solo songs choices for their concerts...Jihyo does not have an ear for sounds that the gp would like and also would fit her voice.

She is not an all-rounder and she is not made for solo music. Even in TWICE songs, look at how "Feel Special" turns to **** when Jihyo/KellyClarksyeon take the second verse after Nayeon/Sana. Jeongyeon and Jihyo are their most talented vocalists but their tones are so horrible meanwhile Sana and Nayeon have excellent tones for pop music. Jihyo doesn't have what it takes for a solo and she should be in a trio. She's an insanely talented performer, but her voice is not made for music.

I was literally praising them in my original post for being able to sell out stadiums in the US? Like who tf asked you to then write a lengthy post listing their english songs that no one asked for ? Your subjective opinion is your subjective opinion. But it's widely acknowledged that Jihyo is top-tier idol, like it's not a fantasy. She's incredibly charismatic and a beast of a performer, and her vocal tone might not be for everyone, but she can definitely sing her ass off and can create a stellar solo discography if she deploys her strengths and her sweet spot in vocals. Her EP was amazing despite that title track. Also Jeongyeon has an incredibly rich voice so idk where you're getting this "horrible tone" thing from. You just have to know more of their discohgraphy instead of basing it from just one song. I also love Nayeon's tone and Sana has her moments, but it's better to not try to speak for everyone when it comes to your taste.

Also Feel Special...my fave choruses from it are Nayeon and Jeongyeon. I would never choose Sana because sis has that thinner tone that quite doesn't pack a punch at all for a chorus like that. But again, that's my opinion.
