I also used to dislike her tone especially when she was singing in higher keys, but I got used to it.

 

I remember people thinking I was trolling in here when I said I prefer Momo's tone to Jihyo's

Lol Jihyoncé's voice is an acquired taste. Her tone can be polarizing and irritating to some. But she's a powerhouse and dynamic vocalist at the end of the day. I almost feel like she should tone it down a notch sometimes  because sis is projecting so much at times on stage that she starts to go off key and she doesn't even realize it  

 

Having said that, I LOVE her belting chorus in Mars

All jokes aside, I think that Manon gets sick the same as a lot of our Asian faves. What's different is Asian idols have been raised to push on and had the mentality beaten into them that they have to keep pushing. Get that IV drip and get onstage.
