I LOVE Ariana but nobody wants to hear that on the damn radio. She literally tried making us listen to this song on the radio about 10 years ago and it didn't really work

I absolutely bopped to the Mika/Ariana version back in the day and always wondered how it wasn't a hit until I found out years later that IT SAMPLED A SONG FROM THE WICKED MUSICAL!! 

 

 

The fumes in here  Doubt it's gonna do anything but this is typical for soundtracks. Wicked is getting pushed everywhere, so of course they're gonna throw a single out there for the album. 

I mean, I doubt it'll do anything but it's not uncommon for movie songs to be sent to radios. Pretty sure Let It Go was released to radio (I know Demi Lovato's version was at least). I'd be interested in Cynthia doing the pop version of Defying Gravity.

She really slayed it, especially those added la las at the end. Kind of strange that it seems they're pushing the soundtrack version, though. Would've guessed there would be a new pop edit.
