I think this has some of her best songwriting but the bar isn't high and I'll admit a lot of the time it's a little vague and gives muffled phone call. The thing with TSOU is at least Audrey brought personality to the project even if the lyrics weren't the best but this is devoid of all of it

I have a theory that she benefited heavily from autoplay in 2024 but that aside, she kinda hardly promoted it and all the individuality she had on TSOU left with Audrey Hobert hence why a good portion of the people commenting on her new album are wondering if there's a duet with her on Minibar in the books

Her lyrics are kinda superficial & the topics she touches kinda repetitive but what she lacks there she makes up in production so I never personally cared. Might be a dealbreaker for many though

Two things can be true: She can genuinely like songwriting/releasing music (and I do think this was very much the case early on in her career) but at some point the desire to take advantage of the fact that she has a dedicated base that will buy anything took over the desire to create & refine her art hence the decline in quality recently Being "hungry" isn't impressive when the final product ends up being meh at best hence the McDonalds comparisons
