Ari Lennox - 'Vacancy'
I enjoyed my first listen. She's doubling down on the modern R&B girlie sound opposed to her new age neo sol sound of Shea butter baby. However her voice is always gonna have a neo sol tinge to it [complimentary]. I do think this is her best album off a first listen with potential to grow even more. the end of twin flame, cool flame and hocus pocus are my favs.

Jessie Ware - "I Could Get Used To This"
I think this is a good middle ground for those that like vibey Jessica + gay dance uk auntie Jessica. I could…get use to this.

Spice Girls Advent Calendar Day 12 - WOMAN (Live at Christmas in Spiceworld)
does woman sample something? maybe that why. also do they have any unreleased music from Forever?
-
Summer Walker - 'Finally Over It'
shaped like the numba 8. I think this needs a different tracklist ordering and it would improve it immensely. I kinda hear y'all about this being a bit emotional less compared to her other projects. it's some good tunes on here but it does give good R&B playlist vibes as an album instead of being a cohesive body of work. also where are the performances? why we not promoting with that throat?

Summer Walker - 'Finally Over It'
lmaoo. I like it. I just wish she was ad-libing in the background.

FKA twigs - 'EUSEXUA Afterglow'
^the bridge on pendulum is truly out of this world. One of the best things I've ever heard in my life fr.

Halle - 'love? or something like it'
I know she said she wanted to put it out because most of the songs were old. Like 2-3 years old. she also mentioned she's been recording more music. I feel like they know now that they should've did more musically as a duo before separating, so maybe they want to get back to that soon. I love the album although I wish I didn't hear half it prior to release.

Rochelle Jordan - 'Through The Wall'
2 something is like an ode to her previous sound before she started her fitting for the new black dance queen crown lol. (It's probably my least fav tho, although I liked her previous sound too…it's very of its time lol)

FKA twigs - "Cheap Hotel"
so we're getting artsy vibes again?! [complimentary]

Demi teases new sex anthem

Mariah The Scientist - 'HEARTS SOLD SEPARATELY'
lmao I love the 80s stadium music sound she was going for on "more". her and teyana truly fed me last week.

JADE - 'THAT'S SHOWBIZ BABY!'
she should drop a surprise deluxe for the fans the weren't the most patient. although I haven't listened to the songs since the released date was announced. If the tracks have any improvement like plastic box did then I'm still excited. also really like what I heard and you can the l word-s aren't the highest quality in audio.
-
Ciara - 'CiCi'
I just hate low quality the cici EP tracks are mixing wise or is that just me? I know she could afford a good audio engineer to get that together. Outside of that, love the intro…don't care for the tyga song (giving kidz bop&B)..the latto track is growing.
-
Perrie - 'Perrie'
The cover is gorge! She better get this out the way so she can have that baby in peace im ready for the vocals, although kinda said "me myself and you" isn't on it. I really like that one. I'm also kinda here for here Kelly Clarkson mix with a bop sound.
-
Ciara - 'CiCi'
y'all need to get off of ciara's neck in this thread my goodness lmaoo. At least we know the album is better than Wackie and Booty Marks. let's celebrate that, girls!

JADE - "Plastic Box"
midnight Cowboy is FIRE but I agree with most…that should've been a little treat for us on the album.
-
JADE - "Plastic Box"
a smell a hit. I think this and Fantasy should've switch places on the order they were released (Fantasy could've been right after the album dropped) No more singles after this though. Tour and give us a new unle*ked album next year bby.

FKA twigs - 'EUSEXUA'
Ok WIG!!

Kali Uchis - 'Sincerely,'
red moon in Venus sin meido isolation orquedias sincerely its still growing. hopefully the deluxe gives me a little more umph.
-
Kali Uchis - 'Sincerely,'
you can make a cohesive album without each song sounding the same…which she has before, just not this time. this is definitely a morning/mommy album fr. It's already grown some on the second play (had an amazing yoga stretch to this too). Almost put me to sleep on the first listen tho and not in a good way. so far tho, it's nowhere close to Red Moon in Venus or Isolation tbh. I need a dash of variety. I feel like I only get that on this album during "Angels All Around Me" and "Breeze!" im sure this will grow more but I do see it being my least favorite album of hers.
-
Tyla - "Bliss"
(Love my neicey pooh but that wig looks a little large ) happy a new era is starting so quickly though. let's expand on this sound and deep the toes into more pop&b.
-
Kali Uchis - 'Sincerely,'
new baby + loss of a parent 😣😢 babyyyy this is about to be a sad girl summer album 🥲🥲
-
Coco Jones - 'Why Not More?'
Are y'all expecting her to re-invent the R&B wheel?!? like… i think it's a cute album. "on sight" is that girlaaaaaaa 🔥🔥🔥
