  1. Only in professional settings really. Time and place
  2. No idea but the way Addison's fanbase attacks literally every artist (mostly Tate & Olivia Dean etc) put me off of her for the longest time. I'm not even the biggest Tate fan anymore but getting this haughty & pretentious over one slightly above average pop album which isn't even entirely original is hindering her success methinks
  3. That fanbase crowding HQ & complaining to mods anytime they're called MAGA yet here they are agreeing with one with no shame
  4. Heir to the multi-billionaire Groupon throne hating an outspoken liberal woman? More news at 5
  5. Most popular /=/ most beloved and I'd say the only cases where you could argue this is the case is if the person in question passes from a premature death OT: I was gonna add Sally Field, Rita Moreno, Reba McEntire, etc but not sure if Gen Z know them enough. Could argue Kelly for recent pop girls too
  6. I feel like you could argue it was definitely Dolly Parton prior to yesterday, and the reaction to her death only further proves that. I haven't seen one negative thing about her on my socials and anyone who does say something negative gets ratioed to hell. Definitely the embodiment of a universally beloved legend. Her passing & the reaction to it made me wonder if there other female public figure anyone alive right now who is so beloved the way she is Cher maybe? Meryl? Julie Andrews?
  7. 25 years after Aaliyah's death too. This month is so cursed
  8. If this wins the Oscar while having a fifth of the impact of WWIMF and Shallow then investigations need to be held
  9. I'm going to start taking these deaths as these beautiful souls taking their time to leave this disastrous planet before things get even worse because no way
  10. Will you be tuned in? Are you prepared for the start of the JCU (Jackson Cinematic Universe)?
  11. Didn't know Dua made SOUR OT: Yeah but it's kinda in limbo after the last album
  12. Debut song from the UK girl group out September 4th. They've been teasing it on their socials for a minute
  13. Pretty cool to see a MPG make a political protest song, you saw alot of that in the 60s and 70s but for whatever reason it doesn't seem like many mainstream artists are speaking on the times through their music. Good on her for putting morals above charts
  14. Maybe successful but Sabrina has never been a critics darling on the level of the other two so I don't see it being as acclaimed unless she does a reinvention
  15. So much about her having "no hit since SOUR" when clearly her album is the hit and is being consumed as a whole, which will only be further proven in 2 weeks when it surpasses TLOAS on this list
  16. But but Amazon Music?1/!1/1! Deezer! Tidal!
  17. Unfortunately this is probably their best alongside Gnarly
  18. The way the 'no smash since SOUR' narrative is becoming the new 'BOAF is only successful on Spotify', Swifties will really just blatantly lie and expect everyone to go with it
  19. Genuinely how is this shade? When I first heard Audrey I also thought she gave early Taylor and many others have made that same comparison. The millennial-esque purposely self-deprecating songwriting is very similar
  20. VMA nominations were released today and out of boredom I chose to go through the major nominations. Most of BNA nominee's are nobodies but I can recognize they had at least a viral song charting on Billboard Hot 100 at some point or in the case of CORTIS, the BB200. I didn't know who Marcus Ferrell was so I looked him up, imagine my shock when I realized this is comedian Will Ferrell's son And on top of that he barely has 1M monthly listeners on Spotify and his best charting song ever was only #24 on the Digital Downloads Chart. He doesn't even have his own page on Wikipedia. The FRAUDERY Has nepotism in pop gone too far?
  21. Resorting to VMA nominations cause YSPS ends MBF in talent, acclaim, and success
  22. Most of the (reasonable) criticism is on their label who have a history of exploiting idols for monetary gain & ruin their lives if they go against that, not really the group themselves unlike with Britney so how is this remotely comparable Also anyone will say 5H, Britney, etc were all exploited at some point so these are truly the worst examples to be using in here OT: I'm so glad Manon left, imagine overworking yourself for some really bad music with very little input. I will say Hootie Frutti is a banger though
