Her new album just opened woth huge numbers on Spotify which indicates a clear GP interest. She's scored one hit after another, and Taste is looking to be the next one. It goes without saying that Sabrina is having an amazing year. But as we know, artists have a harder time remaining on top than getting there. I think that even if her future releases were to be less successful, she'd still remain a recognisable name the way Nelly Furtado and Fergie are so yes in some capacity she'll last for sure.

Sabrina seems ambitious to me, so I think she'll work hard to maintain that MPG status in the coming years. She could also just rebrand herself as a singer-songwriter if her current image becomes old.

Sabrina Carpenter feels like a lighter counterpart to Olivia Rodrigo—still a songwriter, but softer and perfect for blondes who gravitate toward more happy, carefree vibes. Olivia is for the sad girls, like Billie Eilish. Taylor Swift is getting older, and even though she's massive, the general public can be ageist. The industry might be less supportive of her, especially since Taylor has so many enemies now. If she releases another depressive boring antonoff album, I could see her momentum slowing down. Sabrina can be some sort of replacement specially once Taylor takes a break after her 12th record
 

Sabrina is also very smart. Look at all those great videos and how she's capitalizing on her newfound fame after espresso. She's releasing high-quality content and promoting it in the right places. Her management has been excellent since she left Disney. She's here to stay, and I think she'll go even harder in her next era. The next era will likely dictate the direction of her career for a long time.   
 

Sabrina also serves as a counterpart to Chappell Roan, so she'll be an iconic name when people talk about pop culture in the 2020s.

Sabrina is more respected than Katy Perry. As a fan, I have to say Katy has been downplayed since the beginning of her era because her sense of humor can be a bit much. Katy's humor can go from funny to cringey clown territory quickly. Sabrina's charisma is more palatable and diva-like.
 

Katy's quirky style worked in 2009-2010 when that sense of humor was trendy and memes were just taking off, but now, people's humor has evolved.

Sabrina is an AMERICAN. She has the backup of her own industry.....Opposite to someone like Dua

I think Sabrina if she plays her cards right career wise she can sustain her success for a long time

Hmm no i don't think so 

she's smart for sure but there's nothing really special about her 

She's probably going to have the average pop star expectancy 2-3 more albums of hits at the top. 

I mean, she kept hustling for 10 years before finally becoming huge. I think she'll do what it takes to stay there for a while.

I think something in the middle. She is smart, ambitious, strategic, and Taylor's friend. Disney girls also tend to stick around for a while.

 

That being said, she isn't that special so I don't know…not that everyone with longevity is necessarily that special but anyways.

Yeah. She sold out a worldwide arena tour and her numbers look solid. This showcases that she definitely has a fanbase who are willing to support her. But nevertheless she should prioritize her music first and foremost and show some growth moving forward. Otherwise she will end up like Meghan Trainor who keeps recycling the same old thing over and over again. 
 

I hope for her next album she works with Rostam Batmanglij or other indie pop producers. He also works for Haim. I think that might work for her.

I think she can have a career on par with the other big Disney ex-acts, and she seems to not be plagued by the same baggage/trauma they endured, so I see her keeping a good head on her shoulders and making smart career choices.

2nd biggest US radio KIIS played her 49 times yesterday

 

with this type of annoying overexposure i dont see her gaining public interest in future.

She's not really a flash in the pan kind of success girlie. She's grown and worked consistently for more than a decade. She will have longevity

Ehhh... no offense, but I haven't heard anything from her camp that would make be believe she'll remain a constant figure in pop music. Not saying it's not possible. I'm just not won over yet.
