Compared to risks that gaga has taken (which is releasing a jazz album then winning a grammy and starring in a movie and winning an oscar for shallow two risks that actually paid off) katy played it pretty safe. this is one of the reasons why katy didnt release a song like DWAS, she is pretty one dimensional and surface level. But I can tell you what was katy's riskiest attempt was, it was running back to dr. luke for hits which didn't pay in the end.
