I actually agree with you. But also there are couples who can bare a child and have the economical status to adopt a child too. So I think your argument is more about people's fixation of bringing children with their DNA rather than "surrogacy". Have you ever told a rich fertile couple to adopt a child instead of bring a new baby to the world?
