No. I tend to listen to current music and he hasn't put out good work in a while. Even when I'm in the mood for a throwback I don't listen to any of his old hits.

Can we please stop beating this dead horse and focus on canceling someone else like Anna Wintour? She's known to be nasty and emotionally abusive as well, yet everyone just accepts it. We got a great movie out of it 20 years ago, I could only imagine the things that have happened since then. 

 

Dr. Luke paid the price. He's been named, shamed, and cancelled for almost 10 years. It's time to move on. But as soon as he's a dick again, bring it on again.

Yes, I do. He has been part of good songs that I enjoy. And think of how much money Kesha, and perhaps other victims we don't even know about, would lose if we quit streaming all the songs Dr. Luke was part of. He is part of so many of Kesha's biggest hits and a huge chunk of her income still comes from songs he has produced. If we didn't stream them, sure Dr. Luke would have less money, but so would Kesha. And that goes for a lot of the other artists he worked for as well. Is it fair to cheat them out of money when they may not have known what he was doing or the label said they had to work with him?

No. Pretty much none of that music has ever been good, so I never listened to it in the first place  Not missing out on anything. 

 

The big question no one seems to ask: was Dr. Luke ever that good of a producer anyways? 

 

Answer: No! Any particularly good or memorable songs of his were always written by someone else (Bonnie McKee, Ester Dean, etc) or co-produced by a cooler producer (probably a forced/vanity credit for Luke), like Where Have You Been? 

Can't say that I do!

Anyone that listens to music written and/or produced by anyone signed to Prescription Songs financially supports Dr. Luke. I highly doubt most people truly know the reach that he has in the industry to this day.

Well truthfully yes, he has made a lot of big hits. I still listen to a ton of older Katy, Kesha etc songs with him, and also newer songs like Say So.

 

Now while I would like to pretend I won't listen to say Woman's World out of some sense of morality, it's only because the song is not that great that I won't listen to it much.
