Forbes: Madonna may be headed for her biggest Grammy night ever
I do think she will win the Best Dance Grammy. I think she will get a nomination for AOTY, but not win it. The Grammys has turned into a popularity contest, and there hasn't been enough mainstream attention on this album for that. Keyword: Mainstream, not us Pop fans. That being said, I hope Madonna sweeps with Grammy nominations like she did with VMAs because she deserves it.

Why did it take so long for Madonna to return to form musically?
Interscope forced Madonna to utilize writing camps while she was signed to them. So this includes MDNA, Rebel Heart, and Madame X. I also think that MDNA and Rebel Heart were Madonna trying to convince everyone, including herself, that she was still relevant while the pop scene was dominated by other artists like Katy, Gaga, Kesha, Nicki, etc. And in that, Madonna wasn't being her authentic self because she was trying to fit in. Madame X is Madonna's middle finger to mainstream pop after the last 2 efforts weren't very successful. Madonna finally returned to Warner records and with that, Confessions II is Madonna finally returning to form by creating music that speaks her story with a sound she wants and enjoys. Stuart Price worked with Madonna for years, so their trust shines in their work. There's a reason she's featuring him in all her performances and promo so far.

The Fame Monster vs Loud
Gaga wanted to end the TFM era early so she could release Born This Way as a single. I remember hearing there was evidence that Interscope was preparing to release Monster as the next single. This was also supposed to happen with Boys Boys Boys, but Gaga wanted to release Bad Romance instead. That was a really good call, so that's probably why they let her do it again.

Madonna's collab felt natural; Gaga's did not. Do you agree?
Everyone knows that DWAS wasn't intended for Mayhem. It's very common practice to put a successful single between albums on the next album. It was added as the last song, they weren't trying to fool anyone into thinking it fit on the album. And honestly, no one except stans care.

Is Mayhem TFM II or BTW II?
The first half of the album could've fit right into the BTW era with its electro rock sound. I was surprised that Zombieboy and How Bad Do U Want me sound like The Fame era. Loved it. At this point I don't think we will ever get a TFM II.

Ashlee Simpson confirms new album is on the way
I had no idea Ashlee had a Vegas residency until this thread. What? How? I have not heard anyone speak of her except for SNLgate. She aged beautifully. Wow she is gorgeous.

Name a bigger downfall than Lizzo's
Has there ever been an artist that reached Lizzo's level of success flop this hard with an album release? Did Iggy Azalea even flop this hard? It's partially her label's fault. I can't believe they greenlit an album release with no hype or successful single. Meanwhile you get artists blocked from releasing an album for not having a Top 10 Hot 100 hit. Music industry is so strange sometimes.

Daaaaamn the Katy Kats are out today downvoting any negative comment 😹😹

Katy Perry - "Watch It Burn"
Sounds like a very average album track from One of the Boys. The chorus isn't exciting and just sounds like an extension to the verses. I really don't know where she should go from here. Her dance pop isn't sticking anymore. Her rock sound is very average. It worked on the OOTB singles because Max and Luke used their pop magic on the rock sound. This song just sounds like generic emo rock.

Have you ever been the other woman before?
If someone lies to me about their relationship status, I end it immediately. Whether we met up or not. If they lie about that, who knows what else they're lying about.. std's, etc. I also believe in karma and that if you're the side piece, at some point your partner will have their own side piece. I have had an instance where the guy's story was questionable.. either claiming an open relationship or that the other person was aware, but something about them didn't have me fully convinced. But it was enough for me to have a clear conscious.

Madonna - "Love Sensation"
I really like the lyrics of this song. They're genuine, relevant, and appropriate. I'm glad I'm not hearing Madonna singing about being the greatest or partying in a club. I love Bring Your Love as a song, but singing about her experience in the music industry tells an interesting story but isn't very relatable. As for the mixing.. I have to agree it's terrible. It sounds loud and mushy. This is the best instrumental I've heard in a long time for a dance/club song, and when I blast it I want to hear it CLEARLY! Future Lovers is a great example of Stuart Price making a loud song but still clear. For those arguing.. if you watch the Equalizer in Apple Music when the song is playing.. almost the entire song is mixed to mids and highs. There's almost no lows. This is not a balanced mix!! I'm guessing it had to be intentional, but that doesn't mean I have to like it. All that being said, this has been my top played song since its release!

CEO of Capitol Records discusses the current state of Katy Perry's career
Typical delusional CEO. Your marketing and viral marketing team is the best? Is that why Katy's reputation has only continued to tank since Witness? And all of 143 was one of the worst PR disasters for a popstar since Donutgate? Katy's success entirely relies on the legacy of her first 3 albums. The only reason she's relevant again is because Legendary Lovers went viral.

What went wrong Christina's career. Was it Gaga? Britney? Something else?
Everyone I know always complained about Christina's oversinging. Like girl, we get it that you got the pipes. No need to scream all over the song. The bridge and final chorus of Your Body is a perfect example. And I love that song. It didn't help that whoever mixed her songs didn't volume level her screams properly. Mariah and Ariana's overpowering vocals don't hurt your ears when listening.

Taylor Swift arrives at Songwriters Hall of Fame induction, youngest woman inducted
The hair and red lipstick are her brand. When she experimented with Hollywood hairstyles during the Reputation era she looked amazing, but she blended in with all the other LA influencers and pop stars. Her look probably makes her happiest personally as much as professionally. Also by your username, Katy fans of all people should know how severely a bad hairstyle can affect a celebrity's career 😅

Has not liking sports ever made you feel excluded from society?
Honestly there's a huge parasocial element to sports just like with celebrities. When your team wins, you feel like you actually won too. It's a cheap thrill. It's like your fave getting a Hot 100 Top 10 hit or winning a Grammy. One of the funniest things I learned is that the sports gossip amongst the straights makes celebrity gossip amongst the gays look like child's play 😂

Has not liking sports ever made you feel excluded from society?
As someone who didn't like sports growing up and never watched it until the past five years, I have to say I was missing out on it for the first half of my life. The key is having a group of friends that are really into it. The sport is mostly a thing that unites friends and all the same people at a bar or game and gives everyone a reason to meet up. The camaraderie is like no other experience I've ever had. Since most people here can't relate, and even myself until a few years ago, it's the same vibe as going to a concert. You'd probably have a better view of your fave on YouTube, but you go because you want to experience it with other people around and the energy of the room.
