Just finished the album first listen.

I liked it more than I thought I would and would listen again.

 

I think my favorite track is All The Love or Nirvana, and I quite liked Wonder - especially the final post chorus to outro.

 

I do think it is her weakest effort, however.

Gorgeous should've been a solo track. 

I think this album worst offense is that is not even straight up bad, it's just there. Completely void of life and personality. Not a single person in the studio making it was inspired, which makes the whole thing about her running back to that man even worse.

well it's definitely no Wigless 

 

completely devoid of personality, these songs could've been done exactly the same by any other pop girl.

It's a fine album, but it does feel like a shell of itself. 

Just got to hear the whole thing (gonna make sure this gets as fewer streams as possible) and let's just say, it's garbaj. It has a few, very very very very few cute moments here and there but overall, Katy's worst album to date, and honestly the worst album of the decade. Most of the songs sound like unfinished demos, with a few having missing parts at the end where only the instrumental plays . And yeah, Dr. Puke was not needed at all, even the most novice producers could produce something a lot better.

Smile, perhaps we treated you too harshly…

• Woman's World - garbage, awful, worst track on the album period

• Gimme Gimme - meh, filler, 21 Savage's voice sounds awful

• Gorgeous - quite annoying melody, clearly a Feed The Beast reject, and after this and Dancing In The Flames, Max Martin should retire, he has reached his limit, nothing new and exciting from him since 2019; Kim is ok i guess

• I'm His, He's Mine - 

• Crush - awful and annoying song, 3rd worst track, after WW & I'm His, He's Mine

• Lifetimes - again meh, boring l, done before by others, with a lot better results, filler

• All The Love - cute melody but that's all, a dollar store version of Daisies & Kim Petras' Minute  tbh, she should've called The Monsters & Strangerz since they produced the 2 songs mentioned which are a lot LOT better

• Nirvana - sounds like a demo, cute background melody (i think it's a sample of some 2000's europop track i can't name right now) but that's it

• Artificial - i like JID's verse & the chorus instrumental (it sounds cool). Other than that, boring

• Truth - the only good song from the album and the one I'll probably listen to after today, i'm a sucker for this type of deep synths featured on this

• Wonder - cute song, i was looking forward to hear this (since it's the only song not produced by Puke) but well, she had it to make it a cringefest and annoying and she did that. That's all i'm gonna say.

"Truth" is a very Gwen Stefani track from The Sweet Escape era, "Wonder" is just a compilation of Avicii & Swedish House Mafia in one song. Just two great tracks.

So we know that Luke gave Katy FTB outtakes but the most vibe from that I'm getting is from Gimmie gimmie. This "trippy trippy" sounds literally like Kim
