the fact that Lifetimes isn't the worst song on here should've been alarming for her entire team... I just simply dont believe that any one person thought this was a strong collection of songs to put out 

Why Dr. Puke decided to make an effort on just one song? (Artificial)

All the Love would be cute if the production weren't straight out of 2013

the transition from one song to the next it's superb!

 

Crush is the first legit bop on the trackllist, the first 4 are all lethargic.

 

 

However, I don't know why this basique lil euro-pop song required 10 writers; it doesn't even have a bridge. I'm not liking these chorus-verse1-chorus-verse2-chorus structures

To start off, I used to be a Katy stan. Smile brought me down to a fan, but I still love her. But this album is just not it… All the reviews that said this sounds like AI is 100% right. 

 

I know the album will probably grow on me, but I think it will forever stay my 2nd least favorite album from her. Sad bc I did buy 3 versions of the vinyl though so she's still getting my support & money nnnn. And I will definitely go to the tour if she comes to my city.

 

The highlights for me are: Lifetimes, Nirvana, and I'm His, He's Mine. All the Love & Crush will probably grow on me. One thing that annoys me is she put 2 songs in a row that have a "la da di" post chorus. Like…

 

I'm also kind of shocked Dr Luke wants his name attached to this because the music is just not good. Her team must be trying to sabotage her...

Truth is literally a nothing song. It might as well be a silent track of the same length 

does anyone know when we will get the bonus tracks ? 

1. Woman's World: lyrics are definitely the worst in the album (along Artificial) but the beat is not that bad and the chorus melody is semi okay. 4/10

2. Gimme Gimme: absolute trash, no redeeming qualities. Outdated beat, no melody, 21 Savage shows no flow whatsoever. 1/10

3. Gorgeous: what is with the lack of good melodies in this album? This beat should have stayed on some flop from 2014 forever.

4. I'm His, He's Mine: A cheap version of Swish Swish, and Swish Swish was already not the most genius composition. As it happens with most of the album, it needsd to explode somewere but it doesn't. 3/10

5. CRUSH: finally something that doesn't bore me to death or make my ears hurt. The melody is a bit sappy, reminds me of mid 2000s pseudotrance-pop tracks but with a big splash of 90s house in it. I think the lyrics ("my heart goes ladedede" "booms booms") are definitely child-ish, but they match the personality of the song. 7/.510

6. LIFETIMES: While in crush the repetition is almost hypnotic, in LIFETIMES it's just a bunch of boredom. This could have been a cute 1 min interlude. 5/10

7. ALL THE LOVE:  the best song on the album. This is the Katy Perry sound: well crafted, universal empowerment songs. ATL is the sister of the belle of the ball (NRO) that's not as pretty as her but still fuckable. 8/10

8. NIRVANA: a decent 90s house song with a touch of trance-pop. If the song didn't have one of the tackiest drops in recent music, it could be in the level of ATL and CRUSH, unfortunately the r*pist has zero talent to choose cool sounds. 6,5/10

9. ARTIFICIAL: this made my ears bleed. 0/10

10. TRUTH: What can I say about a song that's so boring? Looks like AI trying to copy Firework and then Dr.Puke slowed the BPMs a bit: a bunch of nothingness. Could belong on the second part of PRISM and...that's not a compliment 3/10

11. WONDER: I was slightly excited about this song cause the r*pist didn't work on it but the worst part of Wonder, even with its horrible, mr.obvious poetry, is the production. While the melody lifts up the song and looks like it's gonna soar to "Firework" or "Roar" caliber in terms of pure pop power, ugly and dated sounds ruin it. Still listenable tho. 5,5/10

She should have released a cute EP with CRUSH, LIFETIMES, ALL THE LOVE, NIRVANA and WONDER with a different producer and call it a day: it would have been her strongest release besides Teenage Dream. But the rest of the album is dreadful, cringe to the point of getting goosebumps and/or outdated and worn out.

Artificial is the best song me thinks 

I really don't know why there are liddo monsters and kesha fans here listening to this if they hate her for life. The waste of time and brain need to be studied
