Pasadena is so underrated. It grew on me so much

2 On was such a debut , but barring that one Nasty/Company are legendaric in their own right …. the only miss for me here is Pasadena, i never got into that one

Company is my favourite song here but I don't really consider it the lead single to Nightride since that felt like a standalone project rather than an era in the traditional sense.

Die a Little Bit gets my vote. The way it starts off as such a classic Tinashe song and then evolves into this almost garage like UK rap sound. Genius :clap3: Plus it felt like we'd been waiting for her first independent release in ages so I had no idea what to expect.

Oh my, her lead singles are spectacular :WAP: I wouldn't have thought it would be so hard to choose a favorite omg.

if I had to rank them:

Talk To Me Nice 10/10

2 On 10/10

Die A Little Bit 10/10

No Drama 9/10

Company 9/10

Nasty 7/10

Pasadena 7/10

The only one of these I don't like is No Drama but if I had to pick a fav I'd go with Die A Little Bit.

This Britney stan is always serving taste with Tinashe & other artists :heart2:

As for her leads. In my opinion she hasn't MISSED yet. :duca:

Nasty = Talk to Me Nice > [Player >] No Drama > 2 On > Company > Pasadena > Die A Little Bit

which is funny cause DALB is the lead single of her best album

Die A Little Bit will always be that girl for me. What a song. Amazing video too.

All hits except No Drama which is basic and low-key sounded dated on arrival but it also pop off sometimes.

Thank you! We may not agree on Britney or Justin, but our taste does mesh when it comes to other artists

Also, I agree!! All of her lead singles have delivered! So rare for an artist! Her choices in lead singles are so interesting, too.

I thought the same about Party Favors for awhile, but in reality, both PF and ROYL were meant for Joyride, and eventually slapped onto Nightride. Party Favors was released in September 2015 after she leaked it, and then, she released a self funded video for it 2 months later. And then, Ride of Your Life was released in February 2016 as a promotional single to accompany a magazine cover and to hold fans over with no Joyride release date in sight. Company was released 2 months before Nightride in September 2016, and then, pushed as the single from the "mixtape."

Honestly? Nasty is the first lead single of hers that I don't like... at all. The rest of them I very much like/love. It's hard to choose a favorite.

Tbh I'm actually not a huge fan of her leads, although Die a Little Bit (underrated) and Company are my 2 picks.

Genuinely wasn't expecting those 2 to be leading the poll right! Atrl got it right :heart2:

That's one thing that actually made me fall in love with her. I feel like her whole catalog is fascinating. I'm still so disappointed she didn't go the house music direction she stated she was going after 333.

She should have saved this for lead.

I should've also voted for Pasadena bc I always liked that song :gaycat6:. I chose No Drama bc the rollout got me hyped up instantly, it sounded trendy, finally made Joyride happen, had some fun lyrics, plus the artwork was c*nt.

I never disliked any of the lead singles, but I didn't register how amazing Company was until the video dropped, DALB and TTMN were so unique I kinda had to take time with them.
