Which album inspired by cowboy/country/americana aesthetic released by veteran and certified legends is better?

CC sounds like a instant classic from day one

Cowboy Carter.  Music is overrated and sounds dated. 

Music is experimental and has 0 filler and better lyrical content. CC isn't bad but it's bloated.

I feel like Music still brings something that we haven't heard before, it's really unique.

I gravitate more towards Madonna because she's my non plus ultra but I will say Cowboy Carter is solid

I would have to play cowboy Carter to find out and I'm busy with Justin Timberlakes new album to play that. There is no way there is a better song than impressive instant don't tell me gone paradise on there tho so MUSIC

They're two completely different albums, even though they're both influenced by Americana and country. Cowboy Carter is one monster of an album, that's uniquely Beyoncé, but there's a really simple elegance to Music—even during its most experimental moments. I feel like it ultimately just comes down to who you prefer as an artist. For as great as both albums are, for a variety of different reasons, there's really no right or wrong answer here. They're both top-tier.

Impressive Instant is simply the best song of all time, that alone—

I love Madonna and Music still sounds really bold and fresh but Cowboy Carter is a masterpiece. A 10/10 next to an 11/10.

 

Music isn't really that inspired by Americana outside of the imagery though. A couple songs have guitar but it's mostly a French house album.

you can't seriously think this is better than american requiiem, protector, daughter, bodyguard.... 

Voted for Music because I have more memories for it but these two are my favorite Madonna and Beyonce albums
