ATRL decides: does Charli feel bigger in 2014 or 2024?
Musically, 2014; as a cultural figure, 2024. She was dominating radio waves back in 2014 but she, herself, feels much bigger nowadays. I haven't heard any of her recent music out in the wild. It's funny how that works.

Mary J. Blige has incredible album discography, yet ATRL pays her dust. Why?
I need to revisit it because I haven't listened to it in ages, but I always thought Love & Life was her only real weak album. But I really wouldn't expect the average user here to be a fan of her brand of R&B, hip-hop and soul.

What social media platforms do you use regularly?
I use Facebook, Snapchat, Tumblr, Reddit and Last.fm. Twitter and Instagram always felt pointless to me; I don't like following random people within that context—so I never got into them. And people I know aren't active on there.

Cardi B won't endorse a president before ceasefire in Gaza
Noble, but misled. Trump would let whatever happen to Palestine without a care in the world. Progress might be slower under Harris, but there would be progress in, at least, easing the conflict to the point where a ceasefire is possible.

Should Taylor publicly endorse Kamala as president?
For the power and influence she has, yes. This election is not the time to be coy. If there's a chance that she could inspire people to go out and vote for Kamala, making them aware of the issues and all that's at stake, she absolutely should.

Would you date a short guy?
I tend to like guys who, at least, match my height or are taller. I had a rendezvous with one who was way shorter than me and it felt so awkward. It's just hard for me to take short guys seriously. With the type of personality I have, if we ever got into a fight, I'd put things on the top shelf where he couldn't reach it. I don't know... there would have to be an insane amount of chemistry to the point where I had no choice but to overlook the height difference.

Guys don't make any sense. What's the point of not responding on Snap, but swiping right on me on Tinder?

I still can't believe Lara Croft is in Dead by Daylight. That was one of the things I least expected to see happen.

We Can't Stop vs. Wrecking Ball
There was a point where I just got really tired of hearing "Wrecking Ball," but I never found "We Can't Stop" to be tiring. So, I'm going with that as my favorite between the two.

Aubrey O'Day on DK3 album: Wish i got paid from it..
I really thought this was an independent release this whole time. There's a lot of great music on that album, I wish they would have released a proper third album and carried on. They just made magic with each other. It's really disappointing it turned out the way it did for them.

Will Beyonce Break Her Live Performance Blackout for Kamala?
I think it would be a huge moment if she did. I wish she mobilized and campaigned the way she did for Obama. With all that's at stake this election, now's not the time to not want to get involved with politics.

Summerween becomes a thing!!!!
Naturally, also, a lot of Halloween and fall decor starts showing up in stores towards the end of summer. So, it makes sense that people would be excited about Halloween. With Halloween just being 100 days away, I feel like it's fair game. That time flies by like it's nothing.

Thankfully it's not. Apparently, the eye can heal very quickly and efficiently. My physician laid to rest any concerns I may have had. I'm already noticing a big difference between today and yesterday evening. It's not as sensitive as it was before; I'm healing. I was prescribed antibiotic eye drops to make sure it doesn't get infected.

Is Janet Jackson forgotten?
Janet's not forgotten, her legacy just isn't celebrated like it should be. She should be celebrated far more loudly and abundantly than she is. She's undeniably a legend and an icon, which people realize, but it's all understated—by even her, herself. I think she's comfortable where she is, personally, being that she's always had a shy and reserved demeanor. If she wanted to appear and be larger than life, she knows what it would take. She has the hits and legacy for it; I just don't think that's what she's about as an artist or as a person.

Could Shawn Mendes pull off "Sexyback" type song for his next era?
I couldn't see him releasing that type of sound. I don't think he has the voice or personality for it, which is not a bad thing. I wish he'd go in a more folksy, bluesy rock direction—similar to Hozier. I could see him pulling that off quite well, since he does have the voice and personality for it.

Random Thoughts
After getting checked out, I learned that I somehow scratched my eye. This is the worst I've felt in ages. I'm happy that I can still somewhat function, but it's so annoying. I have the brightness on everything down, with night mode enabled on everything. At least I get a couple of extra days off of work, per my physician. Lord knows I needed the rest and downtime.

Do you feel sad days after a great date?
Yes, because I know that it still probably won't go anywhere. Which, it never does. At this point I'm just happy to enjoy the moment for what it is.

What caused ATRLs downfall?
I think a number of people just transitioned to Reddit as they got older, since it encompasses all elements of life through its various subreddits. For the number of other pop forums that actually died, you have subreddits like popheads and popculturechat that are just booming with activity—having millions of users each. It definitely helps to be accessible to encourage both growth and activity.

Best debut album opener?
"Crazy in Love," which just hasn't aged a day. It still sounds as fresh and dramatic as ever, and I love the way she's reinvented it over the years. That's definitely the way to burst onto the scene as a solo artist. She broke out of any kind of box she would have been put in upon arrival.
