  1. Danceteria is good I hope it's a hit
  2. Guetta for the Soul disrupts the flow. I'm not surprised people are skipping it.
  3. Fragile is so beautiful
  4. The end of My Sins Are My Savior sounds like the Madame X Tour (complimentary) i like the theatrics
  5. Everything's bridge reminds me of Crave and Crazy's verses. It's like the same tone of voice (complimentary)
  6. I've gone down a rabbit hole of reading MDNA reviews and
  7. Mind you, critics also said MDNA was her "best album in decades" and "best album since Ray of Light" so... yeah I do think critics need to get better at critiquing her music.
  8. According to critics both Rebel Heart and MX were her best albums since Confessions. And now this is her best album since Confessions. So how is this time different when they keep using the same lazy comparison. Comparisons are inevitable but if an album can only be considered "good" by measuring it against an artist's past work, then you're judging nostalgia more than the music itself. This album is better at capturing nostalgia than her two previous albums. Every album deserves to stand on its own merits first and foremost. After that, comparisons to past work are fair but they shouldn't be the sole or main basis for deciding whether an album is good or bad.
  9. The whole "best album in 20 years" narrative feels a bit forced. I'm not saying the album is bad. Critics seem to fall back on the same talking points instead of evaluating an album on its own merits. It often comes across as more about repeating a narrative than offering thoughtful criticism. Will M16 be her best album since 2005 too? 10. Can someone describe the transition between Everything and Love Without Words on the 12-track version? And does the album feel incomplete?
  11. I can't stop listening to read my lips
  12. The Test, Read My Smasha, My Sins and Genericzarre have been released as "singles" on Spotify. Why?
  13. someone post the read my lips gif with the hip pop
  14. As a day 1 read my lips stan it's very inch resting to see all the switching
  15. Wait… maybe she made a generic song called Bizarre to do the opposite of what's expected. Her mind omg
  16. Danceteria mentions cocaine?
  17. Danceteria mentions cocaine?
  18. This album gives MDNA (Stuart's Version) tbh
  19. School has more vocal manipulation than the entirety of Madame X. I don't want to see any of you complain about that album's vocals again
  20. Who knew love could sound like a Selena droplet from 2015
  21. All three CD versions are cheap trash. At least Live Nation gave us a jewel case with a booklet.
  22. Good For the Soul sounds like she's singing into an electric fan over a 2012 David Guetta beat. The worst song.
  23. Maybe I'm able to make my own opinions without being influenced by stan wars
  24. The album is good. I love everything from Fragile to L.E.S. Girl. But I'm struggling to wrap my head around some of these songs sounding like Selena Gomez droplets or David Guetta feat. Sia songs from 2012.
