Lana doesn't make faceless dance-pop though.  Not comparable. Stay on topic babe.   Dua is kind of dry and keeps serving the same song over and over again. Why?

What’s with the Dua hate train lately   Sis is pretty much the only pop girl who serves an era nowadays and her visuals are cute and her songs are bops   You guys call her boring

is there any mainstream pop star that isn't boring?

I think she has a cool factor to her, and natural sex appeal. She’s never been marketed as someone that’s supposed to be relatable. Someone boring would be the Camilas and other D-list acts of the pop world who’s personality is cringe because they try so hard at being something they’re not. From the little I’ve seen of her in interviews she’s laidback and authentically herself. That’s more interesting than a tryhard.

I love her but her next era needs to have a little more personality. Something that makes you go "This is definitely Dua Lipa" in both sound, imagery, and lyrics that grounds her image.

Right now she's just "fun" and "gorgeous"

It's why she still never has big debuts. She's like an ultimate influencer/model with successful music. I hope her next era has a little more personality that ties it specifically to her.

I guess Dua needs to cut her hair short, start dating Anwar again and then break up with him and write an entire breakup album with heavy metal influences to be find interesting by ATRL :gaycat6:

Kind of… she’s like vanilla ice cream

She needs to start taking some risks and do something interesting or she’ll just end up like Katy, and she’s so talented and hardworking so I don’t wanna see that.

No, even that could be boring (see Demi’s “rock” album). Everything with Dua right now just feels very safe and calculated. That said she is probably the best in the game playing safe and calculated. But imagine her just letting loose and having fun with some edgier music and more experimentation

Lana is definitely boring sometimes. She also makes much more intricate and artistic music… that isn’t meant for popper fueled orgies where ugly 35 year old butterfaced men who came out at 29 try to make themselves feel good about their pathetic corporate lives

You definitely got some self-hate issues to work through :rip:

no and you getting eaten up deservedly so

also Dua >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Katy

This whole thread is a hot mess... The self-hate comments to "Dua stans are trashy and engage in hookup culture" comments... Some of y'all need to go outside and touch grass.

OT: No she's not. She was one of the few artists who was determined to power her era through COVID and made it work. She's a fun artist.

Literally wtf is wrong with you :chick3: this is one of the most outrageous things i've read on here. the self-hatred

No. Her debut and Future Nostalgia were very different. If you can't hear that fact, you know nothing about music :rip: DTN fits Future Nostalgia's sound but one soundtrack song doesn't really equate to her doing the "same song over and over again".

I'm sorry if it hurt you, did not think it was that deep but if so, genuinely sorry :deadbanana: was just trying to drag basic white millennial gays who think anything that isn't a 3 minute dance-pop bop is boring. Perhaps I should have considered the apparent audience here :rip:

dua is a cool hot girl making great music for hot people. if you have an issue with her, you’re probably just an ugly hag.
