Like, I know the gays live for her because she provides them with the dance-pop they need to survive in this world, but I personally think she's boring. She has little to no personality, it's very dry, and every song sounds the same. Dance The Night sounds like all of her other songs, it could fit on either of the projects she's released thus far. Nothing new, nothing changed. How many times are gays going to keep living for the same song over and over again before they get tired?

 

This is why I say she's this generations Katy Perry. The songs are fine, they're nice, but they're generic pop songs at the end of the day, the album will age and I know you gays will move on. I feel like she's a one trick pony.

Sis is pretty much the only pop girl who serves an era nowadays and her visuals are cute and her songs are bops

And as much as I respect Lana’s artistry, I don’t think calling Dua boring as a Lana stan is all that good of an idea

God can you come up with something else? This discussion is tired at this point and these same points were brought against her prior to Future Nostalgia.

Also how in the world would Dance The Night fit on her debut, it sounds nothing like it. I can see Future Nostalgia due to the strings or whatever.

Yeah she is all about production but zero talent 

not a great performer, not a great dancer, not a great singer, not a great actress

she is just a young pretty girl releasing dance pops and gays eat that up but she is gonna be another Katy Perry in the long run

How was Katy boring? She was super hard working, doing creative videos, performances, switching things up, remixing, being funny/cringy and having random feuds. Katy has tons of charisma, so I'm not sure how this comparison makes sense that Dua is as boring as Katy? Dua is a gorgeous model with fun music and little to no musical growth but she's one of few artists that served a traditonal era with Future Nostalgia that lasted two years.

She just had a extremely successful arena tour in the US for her last era. I guess all that radio spamming is responsible for selling out arenas? How is that not enough to qualify her as an artist who is recognized in the US. The single for from her latest album is also the longest running female song on the Hot 100 ever. But I guess that is only because of her niche group of gays who got her there right?

Yes, she was kinda cool but then she became this american appealing capitalist popstar who tacks Bad Bunny songs to her albums to inflate "sales". Potion, Dance The Night, all super boring and repetitive. Let's not even mention the hypocrisy of being the face of P*ma. I hope she comes back with something refreshing because just looking pretty and basic while singing AI generated disco pop songs is not exciting at all.
