MILEY - "Bass Persuades"
Surprised to see the response being mixed. This song lives the same busy crowded Britney Blackout, Dua Houdini and Depeche Mode world that I just love. I don't care about numbers or charts but I'm happy she seems to finally be following up the sound of Gimme What I Want and Night Crawling.

Dolly Parton has died, aged 80
She always felt eternal to me. I can't believe it. She has done so much good throughout her life. Rest in peace absolute legend.

Should public cruising be shamed in 2026?
and there we have it. How is this allowed on here? It must be really hard having that amount amount of self hatred and towards others. It is clear you have never been to pride because your comments reveal how close minded you are and influenced by conservative talking points. These comments have nothing to do with reality. Among all those things they throw GLITTER? Can't imagine the horrors of glitter being thrown!

Should public cruising be shamed in 2026?
I don't recall accidentally witnessing gay couples have sex in a public park. I sure as hell saw a straight couple do it in broad daylight in public in my hometown, I was a kid at the time as well. Not saying that I condone that happening in public but you section off this kind of behaviour and only apply it to the LGBTQ community because that's your prejudice that you need to look into. When in fact straight people do these very same things on a much larger scale. I'm sick and tired of this narrative pushed that LGBTQ people are kinky and straights are vanilla, just like your post it is always framed from a point of view of judgement and pearl clutching. Where one is wrong and "sinful" and the other is more pure or whatever. Maybe we should consider that kink among LGBTQ is more known because it is actually a safer space to explore that with less shame compared the straight community.

Even in her "weak" era she manages to somehow resurrect. I can stand it!

Carly Rae Jepsen - 'Day and Night'
I can't believe I'm saying this, but this is really incredibly boring and fillerish. The chorus and lyrics are cringy, the production is so samey and doesn't have that usual flourish her songs have. It's so strange because the last three were incredible to me, even if Don't Leave Me On The Dance Floor was a bit safe. We've heard this sound hundreds of times at this point, the day side seems so much more compelling and pushing her sound further while night seems to be the generic one.

Hayden Panettiere dead at 36
I'm absolutely shocked by this. This is so sad, especially after everything that she's been through. I hope those that wronged her face justice. May she rest in peace.

Troye Sivan - "She's the Best"
It being intentional doesn't make it any better. I just compared it because it quite literally is a still taken from footage. She looks absolutely stunning but the composition itself is unimaginative and so is the aesthetic honestly. I get what they are going for and I appreciate it, I just think it is all really boring.

Troye Sivan - "She's the Best"
Just because a song has an admirable and well meaning message doesn't make it good. As much as I appreciate what he is trying to do, this is just so boring and dead sounding. I'm also really tired of the whole late 90s early 00s aesthetic for visuals in music, it is so overdone and uninspired at this point. The album cover being a Glory type music video screenshot is funny.

Mabel & Neneh Cherry seemingly leave TaP Management
To be honest this is more chopped for Tap than Mabel and her mother. When even they leave you, you know you're bad.
